I would like to know if others wear culottes.
I have several pairs and wear them out in public with no comments.
Don't know what may be whispered after I pass by but that really doesn't bother me.
I do reserve the full cut ones that much more resemble a skirt for times at home but I like to wear them with my ivory low heels when I mow the lawn (using a rider). It's also easy to get by with wearing a bra under my blouse when mowing. Makes the chore almost fun.

Thank you, Donna, for your comment. I have a couple of skorts too and like to wear them around the house. Sometimes in the evening I will venture outside wearing a skort with a lite blouse and white shoes.

I have one pair of culottes, I love them! though I wear them less often than I like because they are so flared they aren't suited to much activity. I always look for culottes in our big Salvation Army but they rarely appear.

I too, like Donna, have several skorts, which could I suppose be thought of as the "shorts" version of culottes, though two of mine are knee length.

Yesterday evening after work I was out in the wood shop working on a project when my cell rang.
It was my sister and her husband calling to tell me they were on the way over. They were only about a mile from our home
I was wearing a denim skort and sleveless top with bra and panties.
Long story short... You should have seen how fast my Mary Janes carried me across the lawn to the safety of our house were I could change back into drab!

The word culotte is the French word for panties. I bought some of my favourite panties in France so I suppose I wear culottes quite a lot
