crossdressing for halloween
I love to crossdress but only at home. I could pass in public if I shaved my beard off but my spouse doesn't want me to. I want to dress for halloween. I have several outfits to choose from and my hair is shoulder length. I just can't find a way to cover my face. I've looked for a decent mask but the only good ones I've found are quite expensive. Any ideas?

A scarf worn the way many Muslim women wear it, as a veil, works very well. Of course you need to consider all the ramifications of this, not insulting anyone and that sort of thing. But it could work with some costumes.
One Halloween I shaved my beard and did nothing else. Wore my usual male clothing. My family said it was the most frightening disguise they'd ever seen, which was not entirely comforting to me, especially since I agreed with them. I started growing it back the very next day.
Of course since it's Halloween you can get away with a dress and a beard
