The news out of the College of William and Mary seems like a poetic response to the controversial decision made at Morehouse College last week. Jessee Vasold, a genderqueer student, was elected to represent the class of 2011 as homecoming queen.

I wish she had worn a better outfit for the ceremonies.

She must dress up for the occasion she looks mannish, threw on a frumpy outfit with no effort what so ever to be feminine and beautiful - I'd say she is not setting a good example for any of us. She let everybody down. Makes you wonder is this more about making a statement than honestly wanting to be a homecoming queen - and in my opinion she does not deserve the title. Bad Form.

One must remember that Vasold is gender queer, so to say "ze" (I think that is the right pronoun for neutrality, I could be off) is not feminine enough is like saying a bisexual dates too many men.
But I do concede that regardless, Vasold should have dressed up a little more.
