hi im new to my feelings and was wondering if there was some sort of support group somewhere in the hudso valley in new york

Hi Gennie.
By all means, contacr MHVTA. I've been a member for a few years now and have nothing but good to say about the group. Remembering my first meeting, I was all "butterflys in the stomach", having never been out of the house before. I was made to feel comfortable and at ease at that meeting.
You will have to make an appointment to meet with one of the "powers that be". For the safety of all, they interview everyone before they can go to a meeting. I think this is the norm, because I had to be interviewed before I could attend a meeting at the group in Las Vegas, when I was visiting out there.
