last night I aksed a few internet based friends to read my story on ere, to help them understand me a little better, another good feeling to know that maybe people will 'get' me a little more.

I told a new girl and she was great,and had an awsome chat with her about everything, then I think the feeling got the better of me and I told a friend, some1 iv known for 8'ish years now, his response was one of silence,and then he just vanished offline, I dont really know what I expected.

Each time I tell someone its like a huge weight lifted off me.

I've txt my friend and told him im still the same person and feel free to ask anything,still awaiting a reply.

yes, being able to talk with those whom we consider close friends about us is a great feelin of unloading some of the weight our little secret has placed on us. Unfortunately, society still has a strangle hold on many in their ability to think outside the box when it comes to things outside the societal norm.

While reading your post above, I had a bright idea. At least I think it is. When we tell our friends we soon find out which friends are true friends and which ones are conditional friends.

I am sure we have all had conitional friends - those who were are friends because we had candy (when we were younger) and those who were our friends because we had some money or something else they could get or wanted from us.

I have seen friendships change because of an accident, because of moveing, because of other relationships, and for many other reasons that were realy nothing. Then again sometimes friendships just grow apart.

I guess we should expect that some friendships are going to change when we start to "take the weight off our shoulders" by telling that we are CD. Althoug loseing old friends hurt, we are makeing way for new and better friends.
