Buying shoes

General talk about CD/TGing and gender topics that aren't necessarily fun things we do while en femme, or for gender-driven discussions.

Buying shoes

Post by Leeza »

I was in WalMart yesterday and had picked up a pair of shoes for my wife.

As I was checking out the SA asked if they were for me to which I replied that no they were to small for me, but I was gettig them for my wife. She then said that she ws just kidding. I then told her that I had looked for some for me but they didn't have any that I liked in my size. I think that took her back for a moment.

I told her I am a cd but don't dress much around here for obious reasons which she could understand. I enjoyed chatting with her while she was takeing my money and hope I made her day a little better.

P.S. They realy were for my wife. My ibg feeet don't fit into sizw 7 1/2

I loved replying to the 'Wonderful gift, honey, she'll just love them!' questions about purchases with :

"No, she wouldn't. She dresses like a steelworker. I do, though."
-Michelle-
"Inside me, there's a thin girl, screaming to get out, but cookies & ice cream usually shut her right up."

I like seeing the SA's reaction when they are told it is for me, when they try to kid around like that.

In most cases I haven't got any comments from SAs, when buying femme shoes. Well - I always try and buy them for myself - my SO needs to try shoes always (one foot faced to the back when she was born).
And with size EU 43 (I guess 9 in US) it is really obvious, that I buy them for me.

The best surprise was an older woman, also customer in the shop: she gave me advice which pair looks better for me (I was not en-femme while shopping). This is one of my first shoe-shopping experiences - and so far the very best.

The funnest thing that even happen to me was when I live in New Orleans, I was in my work uniform looking at shoes in Payless and found a cute pair of heels.
Out of no where this young lady came around the corner and handed me a pair of nylon footies and said " use these and you will get a better fit, 1/2 price off on a second pair". :P
