General talk about CD/TGing and gender topics that aren't necessarily fun things we do while en femme, or for gender-driven discussions.

It had been awhile...

Post by Jessica North »

Today I dressed 100%... makeup, hair, nails, lingerie, my favorite skirt, blouse, and heels! Sadly, it has been over six years since the last time I have had this pleasure. Most of you will understand when I say it was truly an incredible feeling!

It seems so cliche' to say that "I feel like a weight has been lifted from my shoulders", but I can tell you that it does feel like something just corrected itself in the grand scheme of the cosmos (at least in my little corner of it).

I am in such a positive mood now, it is almost unbelievable! I know I am preaching to the choir here, but I just wanted to share with my sisters! Now I just have to make sure it doesn't take another six years to be myself again.

Hugs,
Jessica

Hi Jessica

I know exactly what you are saying and I think most of us feel the same way too.

It was a pleasure chatting to you in the chatroom a few days ago.

Welcome back to the sorority.

Best wishes
Susan

I know some things.

After a couple of days to "come down" from my long overdue dressing experience, I have come to a few realizations and a reminder:

1. Wearing 3" heels for a day after such a long time is a killer! Talks about being out of shape! The balls of feet and my calves were sore the next day. I am in total admiration of those GGs and those CDs who can wear heels all day, day after day!

2. Unfortunately for me, six years saw a change in my physical dimensions... for the worse. While I did not spiral out of control, I did get bigger and some of my femme things didn't fit. Bummer! Time for the feminine diet to come back also.

3. Makeup wont survive such a long hiatus. I will be replacing almost everything. Not the end of the world, but still a disappointment.

4. Lastly, the reminder is that my wife is greatest person I know. Sometimes I get engrossed in thinking about my CD desires and needs. I need to make sure she gets as much or even more attention and love. Support is invaluable, and it's a two way street.

Anyway, I'll stop rambling again. It's something I am prone to do when in my femme mental mode. Thanks for listening again!

Hugs,
Jessica

Let me tell you Jessica, I so understand. My roommate and my SO were away for a week last month. For a week I got to be in full dress at home. I was in such a better mood when I would go to work the next day. I got things down around the house with out thinking about it. I would go shopping and come home with new cloth I could just try on.

It was like all the little things just didn't matter.
