Have any of you tried wearinga corset to inprove your figure. I have and found them very comfortable. I had a below breast model but It made me realise that I had a bust whcih needed a bra!

Yes but not when I go out as I can lace myself down to 25" waist which I think would excite too much interest from the general public.

I will stick to more traditional corsetry of the 1950's/60's eras to create the shape I want.

I have been wearing corsets/backbraces since I was 18 (that is some 53 yrs)
and have always had a fetish for corsets, I never have worn corsets to just to reduce my waist that just comes as a side benefit, but these days I only put on my corset/brace when I am really suffering but with my bras, I wear them all the time :) :)

I often wear a long lone bra for figure control with a panty girdle, But for special ocasions I really enjoy lacing into a corset, " now thats figure control " so far I have splurged and have 4 corsets 2 are custom made, way too many bucks. but I guess worth it.

I got a couple of corsets when I first started dressing a lot but stopped wearing them as I didn't like the rigidity and confinement. Currently I have one which is very comfortable that I like to wear, but that's it. I'd love to find more that were as comfortable.

Also have a Rago waist nipper/girdle but for some odd reason it often makes my back hurt. I thought it was supposed to be the other way around. My guess is the compression, even though there isn't very much, does something bad, similar to how a too small bra can give a bach ache.

I love full body shapewear with tights. It wraps around you from shoulders to toes. It does not restrict, but that snug fit feels like I am getting hugged all over.

I have several corsets that I like to wear at times. But I have not worn them for awhile due to house transition issue, then wife issue, and now more wife issues and they are packed away. I do love the body shaping they do. But you do need one that fits well if you are going to wear it for a longer period of time.

The wrapped around feeling hugged all over feeling that Glyn describes is I think a common feeling for crossdressers, especially if you look at clothing advertisements aimed at us.

I have 2 corsets, one is quite loose fitting though so should really be a size smaller, my other one (bright pink!) has a tear in it thanks to some slightly over ambititious figure squeezing.

I'd like to get a nice one though that removes a bit of my stomach and improve my outline. I have more things to get before though
