Bye bye hairy arms

Today 69 years of hairy arms went. I want to get some short sleeve outfits and arms like a gorilla kinda detract from the desired look. I'm not sure what looks worse now, old skin or hairy arms. I'll catch hell from the wife when she gets home. I'll get the legs later.

Other than the wife, we posted a list of retorts to anyone that asks about "lack of hair" on various body parts.
Some of the ones I remember:
I shave because in my sport ____________(fill in the blank) it is necessary. Swimming, biking, horseshoes, tennis, powerlifting, body building, boating, etc.
Wow! thanks for noticing, my Dr does not think I am contagious but it is one of the side affects! -- come closer, dearie!!! (last part is optional)
I have a contagious form of the EBola and this is a side effect. I'd be checking my shower stall soon! (again last part is optional)
Try it --- you'll like it!!!
Your very observant, most people with your limited IQ don't notice such things.
Part of my summertime regiment for a good tan!
I put on a few pounds and it just fell out.
Don't sweat it, I don't know anyone who has been asked why they have no hair on, face, arms, legs, back, chest, etc.
Tried the new Gillette 5 blade, not much if any difference from the old five blade as far as I can tell.

There was a survey done several years ago about "us," and GG's reactions to our various presentations and alterations. The number one thing that we do or did that, can I say, "drove them up the wall (if they were not accepting or just barely)..................
Shaped eyebrows!!! #1
Carry on straight people!!!

Hey Virginia, where was that survey? I would like to see that for the next seminar I will be teaching.

Hi, Wendae -
I've been shaving my arms for many years, and I've yet to have anyone comment on the lack of hair, and I know of several other GG's that also shave their arms. Anyone that would notice most often just does not care!
Good luck with the wife, but just remind her that you like the feel of her hairless legs (she does and you do, right?!?)

and you thought to return the favor of providing smooth legs and arms for her pleasure. Besides, living in the Sunshine State as you do, the lack of hairy legs and arms helps to keep you cooler, which is true.
Carolynn - Sorry, hon, but Virginia cannot remember if that survey was at the Forum or elsewhere. Maybe our Search Guru, Donna, could find it?

Sorry, no luck.
Top of the list I found was Not Listening.

HI Donna,
In yor defense, I would have to add the word "preceived" to be not listening. However, that has little to do with how we appear in public when in our feminine personna. Does it?
Carolynn,
I really don't remember, exactly where the survey results were as it has been a couple of years ago, but addresed things like long (shaped) nails, deodrant, or feminine "odors" perfume and the like, mannerisms, and other things that a male might do when dressed "en drab" yet exude feminine characteristics and presentation. Eye brows seemed to be one physical characteristic that could not be "hidden."
Sorry, wish I could be more help.

Nothing yet! Couldn't be more obvious. All I wear at home is shorts. We went shopping today. Nothing. Got a nice silver cuff bracelet in the mail. Arms couldn't be less noticeble.

My boyfriend had nice shaped eyebrows years ago. I would be thrilled if he got those out again.
How do you even go about getting a hairless boy? It seems as if waxing would be irritating and so would shaving across a whole chest...I've waxed my own legs but I know that can grow back a little itchy. I would imagine that would be so annoying on ones' torso. Still, so many cute things to wear then...

I like your thoughts, Virginia
I have been shaving full frontal for 5 months. No one has said anything. I do tend to wear a long sleeved shirts at board meetings and meeting with sales clients. I do have the hair on my head. I Nair the buttocks and back with the shower off type.
I am very tanned, so that helps as well. Always use a good moisturizer on your skin, like Oil of Olay Quench.
Just my thoughts

That one is an issue. I have tried many different methods, contorted my body in many different ways trying to reach it, and even came up with a number of (unsuccessful) contraptions. Otherwise, everything is shaved on a regular basis, including arms. My wife would have it no other way, as she too enjoys the smooth feel of my skin. Comments from other people? None, except for my 17-year-old son who asked me why. That was unexpected, but recovered easily by saying (truthfully) that my wife likes it that that way. He accepted my explanation.
Have fun with it- all of my outfits look better with shaved everything.
