Chest razor burn

Post by DanielleH »

Hi all, I was wondering if anybody might have any ideas on how to prevent razor burn when shaving your chest. I have been using an Intuition shaver for sensitive skin. I always seem to get red bumps afterward. Is there any lotion that is good for this ?

Thanks

Danielle

You could also be like me. I have never had any chest hair in fact precious little body hair apart from on my head.

I hope you find something to alleviate your discomfort.

Best wishes
Susan

Use creame hair conditioner as a lube, switch to a womans venus razor and use Bikini Zone after to cut down on the bumps.

Have you tried using an epilator on your chest, I have been using one for about 5 years, and now the hairs are so few, I only use it about once a month.
The type that I have is "Emjoi - Gently gold Caress"
I really can recommend them, although it takes a while to get use to using them efficiently =D> =D>
Keeping them cupped comfortably.

You aren't using the Intuition shaver on your face, are you? Your face, which is used to being shaved every day is more resistant to certain bacteria than other areas of your body, which are not so used to being shaved. This can result in rashes and red bumps. You need two separate razors.

I had never thought of using conditioner that way. Is the Venus much different than than the women's Intuition razor ?

Someone else had mentioned using an epilator, doesn't that hurt to use on your chest ? How long does the hair stay gone ?

I just tried using some dilapitory cream which seemed to work to get rid of the hair but it seems to grow back just as fast if I shave it.
