Kat,
I wish I could help but I am half a world away from you. I do know of others here who at least visit Hawaii, Good luck in your search.

I was quite surprised when I did some research on Hawaii before one of our trips and could find little or nothing in the way of CD/TG resources, it's true. I'm sure your spiritual brothers and sisters are out there but they're not exactly vocal about it. I'd love to know why that is.
I was on the Big Island in February of this year, just a few weeks after I started living full-time as a woman. I shopped, golfed, went out for lunches and dinners, visited a spa, snorkeled, and sunned myself by the pool - everything I've done on prior trips but with a whole new wardrobe. I didn't run into any problems while I was there but I do my best to be friendly and polite and that seems to help no matter where I go.
What island are you on? If that's not too specific a question?

I met another CDer on Oʻahu. Lived up on the hill above Honolulu
I know of at least one other on another forum.
Maybe you could run into a few at the drag show at Fusion Waikiki.
There's an annual pageant "The Universal Show Queen" that brings out a lot of t-girls. There's usually a party at Hula's Bar in August to celebrate.
hmmm

Thanks all for your replies. I've thought about going to Fusions for the drag shows but want to drag someone along with me....I still have to find someone to go with me hehe.

I did the infamous goggle. The only site I found as a possible source to get you to others is a university service. See
http://manoa.hawaii.edu/lgbt/ I am guessing you can ask them what they know of the other groups.
Good luck.

I haven't been on Oahu in a very long time, not since before I was buying clothing for myself! We usually wind up on Lanai or the Big Island but I have found the tourist-friendly areas to be inherently open to diversity. I'm sure it can be a different story when you're somewhere that is only frequented by locals.
