The family is away for the weekend so I can dress to my hearts content, and have. I posted elsewhere about sitting by the fire and much of the rest of the weekend is like that.
This morning I woke up in my slip and went to the beach. Not wanting to attract attention I dressed in guy mode, long johns, jeans, warm shirt and all because it was 40 degrees and I was going to the (windy) beach at 8 a.m. Then visited a friend and came home.
Here's the good part. It' probably in the mid fifties now. Every door and window is open and the breeze is flowing through the house. I still have the guy clothes on and they feel REALLY good. Warm and toasty and comforting like old friends. The sort of feeling I usually get from my girl clothes, as if the clothes are giving me a hug. Not the sort of way I ever experienced my guy clothes till I started CDing a lot.
I'll probably put on some warm girl clothes in a while and do some outside stuff. I'm still working on cutting up my neighbors ash tree (remember that from a spring post?) among other things. But for now it's fun to enjoy the guy clothes.

Oh, I know, I am always late!
What you describe must be a wonderful memory! Fall is my favorite season. I love the coolness and the colors!
It is fun to simply enjoy ones self.
The ground here has a fresh blanket of snow and I am reluctant to leave the house. But I hope to have another fall season to look forward to for next year.
Best wishes,
Andrea

And it feels like me...On a good day
