6th trip to therapist.

General talk about CD/TGing and gender topics that aren't necessarily fun things we do while en femme, or for gender-driven discussions.

6th trip to therapist.

Post by Wendae »

I really look forward to these visits. It feels so darn good to get out dressed. This time I arrived early and was sitting in a very small waiting room when a young red neck came in looking for info on a next door pain clinic. He was there quite awhile before leaving. Next in came a sales rep. Pretty ypoung thing. Followed by a new receptionist and then an elderly lady(probably my age) awaiting another therapist. I think she made me and we sat there for probably 10 min. I kept my mouth shut as my voice probably would have startled her but then hey, it's a therapist's office. Anyway this way my first real experience encountering a bunch of people. It was good therapy as I feel more comfident now and will soon be out and about I hope. I'll upload a photo of my recent visit.

I had therapy just to keep me from going crazy. I wasn't able to stop from doing crazy things when I wasn't dressing often enough.

SSSsoooooo.... I am sure your therapy is working and I'm glad it is.

Did you tell the Therapist about the waiting room and how you felt?

It's funny, I dreaded the thought of anyone entering the waiting room while I was there. All kinds of thoughts run through your mind. Plan A, Plan B, etc. Anyway when this all occured I became very calm and waited to see if there would be any reaction. When none was forthcoming I felt exhilerated. I told my therapist of my experience and told her it had been a real boost to my comfidence level. My goal now if to continue on training my voice so I can feel much more comfident in public and make some small forays in the near future. Hang on world Wendae is on her way! <>

I'm glad this seems to be helping, and thanks for the update.

I'm also glad this seems to be helping. It's great that you can go to your sessions dressed.
