Hi Gurls. Most of you don't know me, but I have been lurking here for years. Your posts have been so encouraging that I can't say thankyou enough. It just seems that I never have anything to add to your comments. However, this time I could use some help.

I am quite closeted, but get the opportunity to dress for short periods of time once in awhile. Sometimes I have enough time to do make-up and more. I'd love to add nails but am afraid the glue is too permanent. So-o-o-o, do you have any suggestions how to attach acrylic nails very temporarily so I can remove them after an hour or two? You turn the nails up inside their plastic container and dab a small amount on each nail. It dries tacky. Put a clear base coat on your own nails, then press on the tacky fake nails.

Do you really mean acrylics or are you just wanting any press on nails? Lee makes a press on nail. However, I haven't had too much luck with press-ons. They certainly will come off, but often not when I want them to. If you're wanting nails for play -- not wear out in public, then an inexpensive press-on can be an alternative. If nothing else, you can get some practice putting them on before you go to anything more expensive.
