Tips for going out in public with painted toenails/guy mode

General talk about CD/TGing and gender topics that aren't necessarily fun things we do while en femme, or for gender-driven discussions.

Tips for going out in public with painted toenails/guy mode

Post by BrandyB »

At some point you may want to venture out in regular guy clothes, but still want to expose your feet, which may be kept in a more female mode...no worries, here are a few tips...

wear nice clean flip-flops, I usually wear women's flip-flops as they are not so cumbersome, but they look rather unisex still...and they are clean and new every year.

no toerings or anklets or what have you, not right away.

choose more subtle colors of nail polish for you first outings...not bright reds or pinks...

keep in mind that tons of women go out every single day in public with well-groomed feet and nails and never even give it a second thought, neither should you.

you may be surprised at the positive compliments and even more surprised at how few people even notice.

when you can't always be in "girl" mode, nice, polished toenails are a nice way to still be yourself.

Brandy, what color polish do you use?

I have a light pink, would that be too noticeable? I have worn it but not visible yet to anyone. It has been a while since I last painted my toenails

Hugs,

Erica

I've worn light and dark colors. The only person I need to please is my wife.

She worried when I wore a light pink to the beach, but it was for naught, as no one either noticed or cared, as nothing was said by anyone.

People do not look at men's legs. I have had shaved legs all my adult life and not once has anyone said anything about them to me and I am a chronic shorts wearer in summer. If people don't notice legs, why should they notice our feet?

Fortunately, the very dark maroon/purple now on my toes appears close enough to black. While not subtle, it could almost be construed as "goth".
