Florida Man buys drinks for men in drag, gets mad.

General talk about CD/TGing and gender topics that aren't necessarily fun things we do while en femme, or for gender-driven discussions.

Oops! Florida Man Outraged, Buys Drinks for Men in Drag by Mistake
By Gene Byrd
Feb 15, 2011

Oops! A Florida Man was so outraged that he bought drinks for men in drag (he of course thought they were beautiful women) that he begin fighting with the men (dressed as women) and was eventually hauled to jail.

The fight got out of hand and cops were called and when they searched the drink-buying man they discovered a knife!

Fortunately, no one was seriously injured in the fights that broke out.

Josue Hernandez was arrested and charged with disorderly intoxication and carrying a concealed weapon.

"Police say Hernandez became disgruntled and started breaking bottles and picking fights with other patrons when he learned the group of people he was socializing with were men in drag."

The bar was in the town of Immokalee, Florida.

Or at least who he buys drinks for! Now I don't think I've ever turned down a drink, maybe I should think about that.

Let's hope he's not as mean sober as he is drunk.

I never take a drink off a man when in a bar, a) I do not want to lead anyone on and b) Can I completely trust him not to drop something in it.

My daughter told me b)

I was laughing, and thinking, "Yeah, you're not going to run into t-girls just anywhere," and then I had to pause. I certainly have gone into 'regular' bars, trying to extend the territory where I'm welcome, you might say.

For whatever reason, he felt that he got blindsided. How many drinks did he have in him at that point? We don't know. His judgment in all matters might have been, uh, impaired just a little.

I was in a regular bar one night, and a guy who was with a group of friends offered to buy me a drink. That was unusual! Men might talk to me one-on-one, but they don't tend to show any interest whatsoever when they're with a group. They may be curious, or fascinated, or even scared, but they can't let on to any of that around other guys.

So--this guy seemed to have that courage. He wasn't drunk, as far as I could tell.
