Hi from an old lady

I am not really a new member but I have not been active here for years.
I am 84 years old and have been dressing more in the last few years.
I live alone so I can do pretty much as I please. If I could get a
professional makeover I would probably try to go out. Or maybe not.

Vieja good to see you back here. Stay awhile and let us get to know you again.
You said
"If I could get a professional makeover"
You can get one. My experience is people are a lot more accepting and helpful then you think they are. We must just first learn to ask for what we want.
Hope to see you around the site.

Welcome Vieja.
In He or She a compendium of articles and photos about CDing put out in the UK, there's an example of someone who only started dressing up at 86 and had their first professional makeover at 88 (with someone who specializes in CDs)! She was still doing it at over 100 when the article was written. So...

Wonderful to know "sisters" are still out there even in their 80's the desire to live and to enjoy life is still there. I know that If I were all alone I would probably start dressing alot more and just enjoying my desire to be and to feel feminine. That's wonderful.

Welcome back. Most definately go for it girl.... Enjoy the make up session.
If you have a Merle Norman shop in the area, there staff is very helpful and you might have a nice day in the shop. Try it.
