Women and Panties

General talk about CD/TGing and gender topics that aren't necessarily fun things we do while en femme, or for gender-driven discussions.

Women and Panties

Post by Vieja »

When I think of Jockey shorts for men if I even think of them at all

it's just ho hum but with my Vanity Fair pastel colored panties I just

feel good wearing them. So while I was ordering a few more yesterday,

(you can never have too many panties) I noticed at the bottom of the

order form letters from satisfied customers. They were letters from

Women and they were positively lyrical in their praise of the Vanity Fair

Panty. "How soft they are and the lovely colors" Of course it could be they

were paid to write or maybe they were really CD like some of us.

Go to Macy's website and read the reviews for Vanity fair brief's (granny panties) they are mostly from men. I can't see Macy's or Vanity Fair paying folks to write reviews.

I only wear panties and get them from M&S BHS etc. Black white, coloured & patterned. They are much more comfortable than y-fronts

I just go to Macy's or Lord and Taylor with casual trips to the outlet stores. All staff - very helpful.

I can't believe how expensive VF panties are at Macy's and JCP. I was there last week and though I would get several pair, just to resupply my panty drawer, but they wanted $9 each. That's crazy!!!
Usually I buy them in PA at the VF outlet for $2. I guess that one can expect some difference in price, but 4.5X????
So now I am stuck with my old ones, instead of nice new ones, until I go back to Reading (the one that is not in the UK).

Ralitsa, check Kohls.com online, they average $6 when they go on sale occasionally.

yeah $6 is still way too much. panties at VS are $5. I do really like VF panties, because I think they are a really good value if I can get them at $2-3. but if I'm going to pay $6, then I guess I will want something nicer.

Ummmm coupons and sales ladies???!!! I haven't paid full price for a pair of panties in 30 years. BTW, Kohl's will price match anyone. So if the panties you want are on sale but not in the color or size at JCP, for example, visit your Kohl's.

And ladies, every now and then, you can find your favorite panties on clearance. Discontinued colors, the style may have changed.... whatever the reason...

Why do only women get to wear panties?? I have many panties in my dresser and wear with some exceptions, very few might I add, panties on a day to day basis. I prefer nylon, satin, over cotton anyday. If I am going to be dressing in women's panties I may as well enjpy the way they feel/fit when wearing them. Panties are comfortable and make me feel good inside. It is also nice to be able to choose from such differetnt colors and styles. Beside they do go better when wearing nylons. I have found after I have been wearing panties for a while now, that when I am dressing in mens underpants I do not like the way they feel, wheather they are cotton or even nylon ones. Yes I do have some nylon mens underpants and I did like them at one point ( it was before women's panties in my waredrobe ) but they are not as nice to wear now.

I think it would be nice if we crossdressers, transgenders ect could wear what we like and not be ridiculed by others. On one mental level I understand women not wanting men to wear bras, having forms on it could be considered an invasion of their womenhood. Being a man who wants to wear this things, I just am doing it because it feels right to me and I wish to continue because it is who I am. I am not trying to make any women feel less a women at all. I am just more comfortable being me and expressing it the best I can.

Sorry I got off the topic. Panties are nice and I love wearing them

Hugs,

Erica

Neither do I and I buy all my panties from BHS, M&S or Debenhams and find the assistants very helpful. The same applies to panty hose & feminine accesories such as pads. Sadly I can't always get my bra size (42B or 44B depneding on the maker) from stores & have to go online

I don't buy bras and panties online just because it is so much fun to go shopping for them. I like to look at all the styles as colors as they are on the rack and see which ones go good together, which I like, think about what I will wear with them and everything. OK, I could do that online as well, and it would probably be faster and cheaper, but it wouldn't be near as much fun :)
Sometimes I buy things online, a few weeks ago I bought some slacks and chemise and robe from Macy's, but just because I couldn't find what I wanted at the store near me. And yesterday I bought several pairs of pantyhose, because I wanted Berkshire, and it's hard to find them in stores.
But lingerie shopping in person is just way too much fun to give up!

Alas I am addicted to Vanity Fair panties. The classic brief in lovely pastel colors. I would love to go shopping and buy them in stores

but while I can find VF in the major department stores they seem to be limited to white and beige. Waiting for them to arrive, opening

the package and putting them away is almost as much fun as wearing them . But then what can you expect from a garden variety

cross dresser.
