Making girly comments while in male mode can be fun and pay off. Foe example:

When being told something that pisses you off say...."That really gets my panties in a bunch!

When breaking a nail..."Damn, broke a nail!" Even if you didn't.

If someone asks your age...."It's not nice to ask a girl her age!"

During a conversation tug at your waist band or panty line and complain that your girdle is killing you.

Once when talking to a GG about golfing, she asked how I was? My answer was "Well I broke a nail this morning and got a run in my pantyhose!" That got a chuckle from her but, she asked me about it later on the golf course and I said that it had happened. I came out to her that day and we had a more wonderful relationship.

Sometimes when asked a question, sort of do a girly flick of the head like getting hair off your face. Pretend to straighten a bra strap. Make a show of doing it. Of course if you are underdressed it may not be a good idea unless you want discovery.

These are more fun around women. Men usually ignore it. At least that has been my experience. I've really enjoyed doing this even now with light pink nail polish, tripple pierced ear rings, shaped eyebrows, and a shaved body. I wear shorts, flipflops, and pull overs most of the time. A lot of times they are women's.

I always remember someone saying that people only see and hear what they expect.

I've certainly been observing for decades now that I tend to abstain from desserts because "I need to maintain my girlish figure." Until the past few years it tended to draw chuckles, now it's just an obvious factual statement.

Wendae - I share an office with a bunch of women who are both extremely bright and extremely raucous to say the least! It gets really screechy in there sometimes with the quick humour and catiness - all of it good humoured! Whenever males come through they generally get harrassed in a friendly, flirty kind of way. Over the years I have found myself joining in on this process and now I can be completely over the top with my male colleagues and they just accept that I am weird...so what else can you expect? Male colleagues I tend to greet as "Hey Sweetie!" and the pay off is that they laugh / panic / get involved in the banter / wish they hadn't! Its great fun!

I had a close shave in this regard recently however! A male colleague was moaning about how dry his skin was! I went off on one about moisturising and paying attention to his T zone as a humourous intervention - unfortunately the women in the office picked up on the T Zone comment as quick as a flash! "How do you know about T Zones?" OMG!

Luckily, before I could come up with a response, one of them said - "Oh you've got an 18 year old daughter haven't you! She must drive you crazy with stuff like that!" Lots of nodding! Crisis averted!

I have to say - feminine catiness is in my view an art form - like Tai Chi! It looks beautiful but can really pack a punch! I can remember hearing a woman talking (in a group) and she was going on and on about her new top! The others were clearly bored rigid! The whole thing was starting to get a bit shuffly. Finally one of them cracked and said "Yes - they're getting really sophisticated with crimplene nowadays!" A second came in with a subject change and the whole group moved on - seamless! Ouch!

Its interesting, but as I'm writing this it occurs to me that we seem to rarely talk about us moving towards the femine dark side.

Hugs Ginny x

Love the girly humor. I was sweeping at church last week and a male friend of mine said, "Dude, you are the man", to which I responded, (without missing a beat), "Only on Tuesdays & Thursdays, honey...All the rest of the time, I'm just one of the girls!!!". He almost couldn't breath, he laughed so hard. Mama Bear was on the side just chuckling away, knowing how I love to mess with people's heads, and the best is when it comes straight from left field and they never see it coming, nor expect it. Absolutly stellar. Gotta Love Girly Humor!!! I used your line today about "My girdle is just killing me." Same results again. The guy was D.O.A. Hilarious. TTFN rotf
