I just accepted a new job, but it is near Washington DC in Northern Virginia. Are there any girls here that are in the FairFax/Alexandra area? Does anyone know of a TG support group in the DC area?

Congrats on the new job!!

In the DC area, there are several support groups, most notably the TGEA of which SharonRose and several other ladies are members; feel free to contact her for more info, as I believe she is/was the Membership Chairperson. Virginia, DonnaT and myself have attended a few of their Holiday Galas and had a wonderful time.

There is also a TriEss group in the Baltimore area, but I have no further info on them; as I believe you are already a TriEss member, you should be able to find a local group through their directory.

Forum member-wise, there are quite a few who live in NOVA and the surrounding areas {DonnaT, Davita, SharonRose} and they should be able to provide you with more information.

uuummmm eerrrrrr.... I have never attended any support groups and so I only know they exist, but that's all.

My next days out en fem will be June 13, 14, 15 and 18. Mark your calendars. I always need lunch dates and after hours. Let's see if we can get together.

I would be happy to connect you with the local TG groups. As Silver Lady mentioned, I used to be the membership director of TGEA. I am still active in the group. Their website is http://www.tgea.net" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;.

In addition, there are several other groups in the area, including groups on Meetup and Yahoo for TGirls that like to socialize. If you send me a private message, I will fill you in on the rest.

I forgot to mention that I live in the same area of Northern Virginia (Fairfax County) as your new job (and I am familiar with Alexandria too), so I can also offer advice on the non-TG related stuff as well if you are interested.

Just got back from a 7 day cruise, so couldn't post earlier.
