Epilator Help

As most of us, I have hair in unwanted places and am getting tired of shaving daily. I am considering the purchase of an epilator. The prices on Ebay vary wildly. Do any of you have experience with more than one model and/or brand of epilator and if so, what are your feelings RE: the different models? Do the higher price Brauns warrant the added money? Thanks, Cindy

There are many brands of epilators and they all have worked fine for me.

I love my Braun and got it at Target. If you are going to epilate for the first time do a search on some of the post here as that may help you out when doing it.

I like the Braun also. The utility of an epilator depends on the density and thickness of your hair. Heavy hair removal becomes too painful. On the good side, however, after a few treatments, the regrowth is sparser and finer. In my case, I need an occasional touch up once every two months. Also the operation of an epilator in sensitive areas has to be avoided.
How is your pain hreshold?
Hugs,
Lydia

I use the Epilady, from Target. Actually I got it some years ago, so I don't even know if it's still around.
I really like it, but it is very slow. Of course there is no stubble, and of course there is some pain, but I think the part that I didn't anticipate is that it would take so much time.
What I usually do now is to shave first, and then a day or two later to epilate. For one thing it's quicker, and there is less pain. It is best really to epilate every couple days I think, at least for the first few months, but I have never done that. It seems like I don't always have the time, so I skip it and then after several days I have to shave instead.
But I'm really satisfied with mine, and now that I'm thinking about it, I guess I should go use it right now

Thank you all that replied to my request. I really appreciate your thoughts. Based on those comments I guess that I will simply buy the least expensive epilator I can find that is from a reputable company. Thanks again, Cindy
