So today I managed to remove my bra whilst driving home. No big deal except that I was wearing a Tee shirt and sweater and did it one handed! Well I was impressed. I needed to undo the clasp at the back one handed which was a first for me ( you girls probably have it all down but I am noticing my fastening speed and technique improving). Next was the arm through strap technique one by one then hooked out through a sleeve.
And YES I could have pulled over, but it was safe and controlled enough.
So, any clever/crafty/tricky removal or quick changes recently anyone?

Re: Improving technique
well I don't have any tips or tricks to offer that everyone doesn't already know. But I know how you feel, there is a sense of accomplishement and pride at being able to do these things. I know that I also feel a certain amount of pride in being able to zip my dresses without any external aids, keep all my straps under control, get my nylons on without puching holes in them, and most importantly walking in 3" heels for hours even if they are killing me
My ex-wife would always put on her bra backwards, that is have it inside out, backwards, and upside down to hook it. Then she would twist it around and roll it up to get it on. I always thought of that as cheating and the proper way is to put it on right and reach back to hook it.
Like you, I think of these things not as the problems we have with our clothes, but as the milestones we need to achieve. I actually enjoy the challenge, and like that I can do it as well as any other woman.

Re: Improving technique
I'm wondering why you would need to remove the bra in the first place, if you already had a T-shirt and sweater on??

I was on my way home and I knew that the children would be home - hence a hug and a squeeze would be coming my way
I always try my best to avoid putting myself in any awkward situations where my children are concerned - they have no idea.

And I thought that cell-phoning or texting and driving might be distracting! Careful when on the road, please!
