i find as i get older, the need to be out and passable has waned.
so much of it seems more psychological now.there are so many
gender neutral clothes that you can wear. being out wearing
womens jeans or shorts, womens shoes and socks.gender neutral
shirts, gives me such a good feeling.just knowing that they are
womens clothes is such a wonderful feeling.

Honey wait until you wear that dress or skirt with a nice pair of heels and nobody looks twice anymore

, as much as I can get out everytime is a totally new rush of feelings.

I agree that passing isn't so important to me, but that was never really my goal anyway. I just like to wear pretty clothes and find women fashions much more interesting than mens.
Oddly enough, last night I was out having dinner and working on my computer at the bar. I was wearing a ladies top, but that was pretty much the only thing noticeable, and yet a few people next to me saw me as a woman. I wasn't even trying, and didn't think I would even be close to passing, so I was rather surprised, and also a little pleased

I agree 100%. I think I like it when no one seems to notice, since no one is ever going to come up to me and give me an unsolicited compliment. And if someone did I would naturally think they were mocking me.

Carol Ann,
You are right, I guess I do like it when someone notices. Once when I was getting a makeover one of the other employees in the shop was walking by and gave a "WOW". It was obviously a gut reaction and I have always remembered it because I knew in my heart that it was sincere.
But I know that that is never going to happen in a situation where I have applied makeup or I am not wearing any.
