Hi all
I Envy all you guys and girl in the UK and US. How good must it be to have clubs and organisations not to mention other like minded folk close at hand.
I moved to Brazil over 5 years ago and am really lonely as far as CD/TV friends. I wonder if anyone has had similar problems and if anyone knows of any clubs over here.
I would even be happy if I could just talk to someone from time to time. I have tried to use the chat on here but it seems a bit clicky.Most people seem to lose interest in you if there friend comes on line. Some people ARE very sweet but do seem distant. I like to talk and share storys with peole but I do not ignore people if a friend says hi.
Anyway thats why I do not use this site as much as I would like.
So here I am on my lonesome.
ps In the past Peole on the chat have been very honest and nice.I am not saying they all are...

The Internet and chat-rooms are all very well, but are no replacement for actually meeting real people. I don't know Brazil at all, is there anyone at all (not necessarily trans themselves) you could speak to?

er no nobody at all. Well I say nobody, my wife is fine with it all but I would still like to at least have some CD/TV friends. Maybe I need to try harder to find peple on the net.

I reckon it depends on where you are located in Brazil.

Thanks Donna not sure what the message was (being killed or being judged) Hope there is some middle ground where I am. But yes, if I was is say Rio, it might be different.

Marcie: You are not alone. I know how you feel. Buenos Aires is a huge Metropolis (though smaller than Rio, of course) where there are supportive groups for every kind of people you could imagine, and could seem an amazing place from the outside, but still, we live amongst a rather retrograde society (not many decades ago you could be arrested for reading a book in public) where cross-dressing and transgender is still, to the popular mind, closely related to prostitution and radical sex change, there is a lot of discrimination and barely tolerance between people similar to us. That makes it hard for organizations to evolve. They will evolve, but we're still miles behind.

PS: Last year I visited the South part of Brazil for the first time , what a beautiful country!
