I am back after long absence, I was trying to fulfil my CD needs in other ways without to much success, just glad to be among people that understand and are ready to lend a helping hand

Basically , ignoring them, improving my male wardrobe, trying to fight the urges, denial, so other ways is probably a poor choice of words, very observant of you to pick up on that, just coming back here to try and get in my comfort zone again, bought a bracelet , jump suit, high wasted panties and slacks last night.

In my own experience resisting the urge was never more than temporary. I never successfully resisted it for long. Likewise, purging just came and went in cycles. It didn't really end until I just realized it's part of me and kept the clothes. (Gee, I wish I still had some of the bras I threw away.)

That's just me. Maybe there is a value in resisting, putting down the urge, like trying not to look at something. For me, though, it was in the end self-destructive to keep trying to push it under, and very liberating just to accept it. More than liberating, it normalized life, brought it back into one piece, instead of two separated worlds.

Just one person's experience for what it may be worth ...

Resistance is useless. Really!

However, there are ways to compensate.

Under-dressing is a favorite.

Shaving your entire body. and then wearing nylons, panties, and if it's winter, a nice bra.

Joining a local tri-ess.

There's more, but that's a start.
