home-madeTransgender scale

General talk about CD/TGing and gender topics that aren't necessarily fun things we do while en femme, or for gender-driven discussions.

home-madeTransgender scale

Post by Merinda »

Hi girls ,

I was thinking about how far I have come with crossdressing over the last couple of years and where I fit in with all this , so I've created my own transgender 10 possition scale .

LEVEL 10
transexual post opperative

LEVEL 9
transexual pre-opperative

LEVEL 8
24/7 dresser and taking hormones , not considering re-assignment opperation

LEVEL 7
24/7 dresser , no hormones , not considering opperation

LEVEL 6
enhanced consistant dresser , dressed for most of their free time , dresses DRAB for work or only when have to

LEVEL 5
social dresser , dressing for social outings with friends

LEVEL 4
going public , roam the street or shops , going out by yourself for the first or 100th time but not socially mixing with anyone

LEVEL 3
open , dresses within the house and is known to immediate family, approved or disapproved

LEVEL 2
closet dresser , secret stash , frequent use when house is vacant of other family members

LEVEL 1
packed away , stopped , clothes may only be used on days of extreme withdrawals or not at all

LEVEL 0
purged , deleted all items , futile exersise , expensive when you re-start

Well I think I covered it all , you may find yourself between levels or have aspects of some .

I am at level 5 as you know , I am close to falling down the scale at the moment but thats another story

Nice attempt, but I am sure the scale will not fit to all of us.
I would be a mix of Level 2, 3 and 6.

I guess there are too many "implementations" of T*, that it is hard to find a scale, which could classify every one. But I am sure you prepared that scale for yourself, and of course it is ok.

Up to which level do you want to go?

Oh, at this point I would definitely say that I'm a level 6! Only when I have to go to work or visit family am I in drab.

Hi Merinda,

Nicely done. I am sure there will be intermediates, however. My own position, for example, would be a 3 but with some invasions into 4. Probably higher if I were younger and better-looking.

I am at a level 2.

Interesting scale although I would say it needs another category-the person who has not bought anything and just borrows other peoples stuff. Also one for the person who is completely out but has no desire for hormones or srs.

Thanks

I believe that would be Level 7, dear.

Nice classification system (and I *love* classification systems, as long as they're fair and accurate). Interesting also, because I started at level 5 but it was a while before I could manage level 3, and I still don't really do level 4 (don't feel like there's a lot of point to going to the effort of dressing up if I'm not going to be socializing with people who will appreciate it).

This was prepared for myself to find out where I fit in , sure there are many more catergories that could be added and someone at level 7 may not fit level 3 as an example

I couldn't go beyond Level 6 , I suppose years back I went on holiday alone and dressed most of the time so that put me at level 6 but Levels 5,4 and 3 did not apply at the time.

Virginia is Level 5 to 6. I am assuming that this only deals with dressing? This does not contemplate the mental aspects of our "sport"

Hi Merinda,

I would say I am a real solid 7. I am very comfortable here and dont see myself going either direction. While everyone can not fit into a catagory perfectly, i assumed that as you move up the scale it means it includes everything below it in the list. However, that turns out not to be true for some of our sisters. How interesting? It is always so nice to see where everyone sees themselves.

Thanks for another fun thread.

Love always,
Elizabeth

Hi Elizabeth ,
No you may find that some levels below you have not been covered such as my example of myself at level 6 some years back but never covered levels 5,4 and 3, or I could say I was a level 6 crossdresser minus 5-4-3

It can get a bit confusing but it just a bit of fun

I was actually thinking of you (Elizabeth ) when I listed catagory 7

Hi all,

I consider myself a Level 3. My loving wife knows and approves, no children, the 2 cats don't seem to act any differently no matter how I'm dressed.

Hi Merinda--
Yeah, this isa fun scale. Level 5 is where I sit, and I don't feel much desire to dress at home, as in level 6. I have never found female clothing to be more comfortable than male, and my femme identity is somewhat distracting to me at home. I don't mind staying dressed after I come in from somewhere else, though--that's usually late at night, and I'm not trying to work around the house.

Dressing at work is no fun in construction, because the gals in my trade wear guy clothing, work boots, and keep their hair tied up. So I'd have no gender cues at all, except a pair of forms.
