Pretty men

General talk about CD/TGing and gender topics that aren't necessarily fun things we do while en femme, or for gender-driven discussions.

Pretty men

Post by Jan W »

Of all the guys who have done drag in movies and on TV, who made the most attractive woman?

(we could also do most unnattractive woman but that would be too easy)

My choice would be Robert Morse ( who remembers "The ugliest girl in town"?)

I agree! =D>

A close second would be Michael J. Fox in Back to the Future II - he played his own daughter "Marlene" in the future. He looked so cute!! ( I think he looked remarkably like Bridget Fonda)

Don't recall the name of the movie. Starred Patrick Swayze and Wesley Snipes.
I thought Patrick was beautiful in drag.
There's no problem that a new pair of panties can't cure.

Hi all,

LaDonna,

Possibly, you're referring to To Wong Foo, Thanks For Everything! Julie Newmar, a film that came out in 1995.

oh a subject I am a pro at! Okay, going way back..Peter Scolarie in Bosom Buddies...he was the perfect size and although that wig was in sad shape he looked adorable.

Next....David Spade played a character on SNL who worked as a Gap girl, but so did Chris Farley and Adam Sandler. David looked too cute of course. (david also spoofed Terri hatcher once and it was eeriy how nice he pulled it off!)

But I would have to say Chris Farley made the uglies chick I have ever seen. he looked atrocious!

Actually one of the reasons I have stayed faithful and watched SNL most of my entire life (starting at age 6!) was due to the fact that they always get the big host to do drag if it is a guy. Sometimes it is scarey, sometimes very hot!

Okay, the cyring game was easy....but what about
Adrian Pasdar in Just Like a Woman. He was absolutely beautiful and freaking gorgeous as a guy to boot!

Other guys who would not be to shabby as girls but who I have yet to see in drag would be : Matt Damon....he just has such a pretty fce. I would also like to see this guy on CNN I like Anderson Cooper, (for canadains) there is this gorgeous vj on Much Music can't remember his name but he is already very girly looking. Gosh there are alot of guys who I think would look great, but those are the ones at the top of my mind lately. Yes..I think about this stuff....even a hapily married mom with a kid has to fantacize about stuff!!!!!!!!!

hugs

...and let's not forget the "Kids In The Hall" comedy series that ran on Canadian television and was also syndicated in the US in the early to mid-'90's.

All of the cast members performed in drag whenever the skits called for it, but Dave Foley and Bruce McCulloch were especially passable.

Dave could be extremely hot, particularly in one skit where he played a French streetwalker with the long black wig, fishnets, and sky-high stilettos. Bruce was more of a "girl-next-door" type, amd often played a prissy secretary. He totally looked and acted the part, and could have fooled anyone.

Speaking of Canadian television, there was also a satirical comedy show called "CODCO" that ran in the late '80's. One of the stars was Tommy Sexton, a gay man who could play drop-dead gorgeous women with ease. He often portrayed a female news anchor on fake newscasts, and once did a bang-on impersonation of Krystal Carrington from the "Falconcrest" series dressed in a very sexy designer evening gown that hugged all of the curves.

In fact, he repeated that persona at a subsequent awards program (Juno's?) where he did one of the awards presentation as Krystal along with his "CODCO" co-star Greg Malone, who played the Blake Carrington part.

When the cameras panned around the audience, you could see most of the ladies with their jaws dropped way down, so stunningly did he play that character.

Sadly, Tommy died some years ago of AIDS at the relatively young age of 36.

Whoops! - That should have been "Dynasty", not "Falconcrest" in my post above.

I guess after all that time, those '80's "Dallas" clones have become a blur to me.
