I Often wonder why I'm not satisfied with the ladies clothes I've got. I've shopped from Ballarat to Melbourne to LA, even St. Louis. I've bought dresses, gowns, skirts, you name it and still not satisfied. Well, i maybe satisfied by the end of the week. I'm having my first 2 dresses being personally made for me. The ladys name is Mary and she is so beautiful and accepting. I'm getting a gorgous long flowing ball skirt made, its light pink chiffon, over dark pink satin and falls to the floor. It'll be great to dance in as it will swish and twirl. The other is a long flowing evening gown, all black, with chiffon over black satin. I've had measurements done, I've been to get fabrics with Mary, I'm trying them on this week for test run, then they'll be mine. I Cant wait. I will be a princess once and for all.

Hi Sheena--
I started to realize early on that if I wanted things that looked good on me, I would have to have them altered. Now I'm considering learning to sew myself, and the woman who does my alterations has offered to teach me, if I buy a sewing machine.
I checked into what it would cost for them to make a custom dress, and it was out of my range at the moment. But I see that waiting for just the right dress to appear on the racks is not working very well.

I reckon it's the fem part of our nature

. Guys clothes I could care less about buying, as I feel what I have is sufficient. Women's clothes, however, I say I have all I need, which is actually true as I don't wear all that I now have, yet I will eventually buy more.
