There was a young man on last night that looked very much like a girl, jeans, heeled boot, fem top, fem haircut and fem eyebrows.

He commented to the judges that he was a guy, and that people mistake him for a girl all the time.

He can't understand why people make that mistake

On the Idol web page there is at least one video with a CD. In the video there is a guy wearing a pink tie and all looks 'normal' until they show he is wearing pink slacks and high heels. There's another guy in a Pipping Longstocking costume and blond wig, sporting a small beard.

Wife and I saw it Donna T:
Zachary does have some issues Maybe denial, or Disphoria who knows.
He could make for a pretty gal if that's his/her goal. If not then my appologies to Zachary.
However you did mention others, Some were genuinely real while others
ridiculed us true CD's/TG's by pretending and using it as a gimmick to be
on Television......... :)

I watched AI too and agree that Zachary has some gender issues. He seemed genuine enough and I would hope he eventually does get the help he needs if he is indeed in denial. Even though he had his family with him, they appeared oblivious to it or maybe they were just trying to ignore it.

As to the others, when you want to distract the judges from your lack of vocal ability, you need a gimmick. Unfortunately, their choice to crossdress was an easy one at our expense. Ironically, Simon told some poor schmo that he looked like he should be wearing a dress - and this guy wasn't even ambiguous in his appearance. Then again, that's Simon........being Simon!

I watched Idol tonight and Simon told someone to be a female impersonator because he did a good job doing a Cher song as Cher.
