Hi Jess(SO),
Dressing has nothing to do with sex for me. Not to say I have never been turned on while wearing women's clothes or undergarments, just that I would have been turned on anyway. I have never dressed just because it's a sexual turn on.
Really it's this feeling of well being that I get when dressed. It's like nothing else. It changes how I feel about myself, my life and the world. It makes me like them all.
Love always,
Elizabeth

When I was a kid, and dressing was a clandestine, shameful act, it was a sexual turn-on, as well as a general emotional rush. As I got older, the sexual aspects diminished, and are now totally gone. I think, this is generally true of most crossdressers, but I'll be curious to see the results of this poll.
Good question, Jess.
Hugs,
Lydia

I agree with what everyone has said to this point. I dress for me and me alone. I feel special and warm all over
, It's like receiving a big hug all day long. I just wish that my SO could feel and understand that.
I love reading these poll's, It really makes me think about what is going on with me

I was torn between the last two options. I have to be honest and say that Virginia is a sexual being in her own right! She loves to dress, (as I have said before, however, for Virginia's influence to interact in "our" everyday life, she does not have to be "dressed)! That being said, Virginia does enjoy sex! I posted her "coming out" event several months ago and it was a beautiful experience for her. I can not speak for any of my sisters I only know what I experience and I love it!!!!!
Virginia does not dress for sex, but if it happens - she is ALL WOMAN!!!!
Love you all,
Virginia

Jess,
I have to ask and perhaps you could post my question and your response to the "sex vs. dressing" thread that you started.
Why would an SO/GG ask this and what gnerally are you looking for in our responses?
This is not meant in any way to be a negative, I am just curious as to what you are seeking!
Love,
Virginia
Above a copy of a pm that Virginia has asked me to reply to on the forum.
Virginia,
I am more than happy to do this.
Many SO's feel confused about the sexual element in cding from their partners, maybe also because I am still new to this, perhaps underneath my question are the other questions, "where do I fit in in this? are you responding to the women in me? or the women in you? ". I have also posted the same poll at http://www.crossdressers.com/forums/sho ... hp?t=40842
the results there are very different to the one on our forum ------- and strangly enough this didn't surprise me(and yes I mean our forum, I feel that this is my forum home).
It is also following varies aspects of threads that have been posted over the forums I visit.
"what generally are you looking for in our responses? "
The only answer to that is Honesty.
I am pleased that so many have commented on why they have voted, but would be just as content to have had only votes.
It was never my intention to make anbody uncomfortable by my asking the question perhaps I could have phrased it a bit better.
Jess
P.S I do intent to post one for the SO's in a day or two on a similar line just didn't want to flood the forum with polls ---- and yes I will post it in the same part of the forum

question for the cd-sex and the woman in you
Dressing in womens clothes merges body and soul together for me in a nice harmonious way, but as I’ve said so many times over the years, whilst the clothes hold some importantance, they're secondary to more important issues which take precedence.
I’m not suggesting that wearing nice clothes doesn’t have an attraction or doesn’t produce a nice feeling, but I’m not quite sure where I’d draw a line between ‘attractive feelings and sexual feelings’. Whilst I personally don’t dress for sexual reasons, maybe women also feel some sexual feeling from time to time even to a minor degree, moreso when they are dressed in nice attractive clothes as against what might be termed as ‘day to day knock around clothes’ about the house.
What I’m saying is that whilst I don’t intentionally dress for any sexual reasons, I do always try to dress as I personally see how a conservative middle aged woman may dress. I admit I also enjoy compliments on my dress sense from time to time, it gives an overall good feel within me, but that may have more to do with achievement of lifes’ destination moreso than anything sexual.
I voted for the fourth option simply because the clothes don't have a bearing one way or the other on our sex life.
Kind Regards,
Sally.

Hi Jess
Nice topic and interesting results.
I would say that you will find that the "younger" CD's may be turned on with feminine clothes (more likely sexy underwear) but as with me, as the get older you tend to dress for the pure pleasure with no turn-ons. From a personal point of view, if I was a GG I definately wouldn't want my hunk of a husband to want sex in a frilly nightie so maybe you would get some interesting results by doing a poll for the SO's ??? "Would you like your husband dressed whilst making love???"
I find that dressing actually "turns off" my male side and the normal urges with it so I would more than likely be useless to my SO!!!
Keep up the interesting topics
Hugs

When I was young and dressed,
one way or the other, I was going to have sex when I had to come back down.
Now, many years later, it's whatever it takes to get the job done just to have sex, dressed or not.
Did I dress for sex or to have sex when I was young?
I may have, but to me just dressing was a turn on and in it's self very sentual and sexual. Now days, I dress to be comfortable and feminine the way I most like to be. If I some how get fired up while dressed baby it's the bonus round!
Did I dress for sex or to have sex when I was young?

When I first started on this forum I considered myself 100% hetrosexual and had no interest in anything else , however Merinda's boundaries seem to have broadened in the last little while.
My mind wanders and thoughts have entered my head, however I would not act on it should the opportunity arrise.

Susan and Merinda,
Ya'll are not the only ones, trust me. My guy is *so* totally into women. The woman inside him, however, is really into men. I have talked about this on the forum before, and although few will admit this publicly, even here, several have PM'ed me to say that they too find this to be the case.
