CD'ing, sex, and age

Hi all,

Jess,

I understand the intent of the poll you set up a few days ago on sex and crossdressing and I think it's a totally legitimate (and important) question. However, I also think that this subject is liable to be influenced by a host of variables, not the least of which is the responder's age.

In our (very public) correspondence over the past year, my father mentioned to me that, aside from the fact that sex is, for him, a private affair (and I chalk this one up to a generation gap), sex also tends to take less room in our lives as we get older. It doesn't disappear, mind you; it just takes up less room.

Now, it's not my intention to hijack your own poll, Jess. Far from it! Like I said, I think it's an interesting one. I'm just wondering if wouldn't be good to tweak it a little bit by including an age factor in the options. I hope you won't mind.

To all who will respond,

As in the poll Jess set up, it's not necessary for you to comment on your vote. I'm not looking to discover the, uh, geography of your intimate lives. Just your vote is enough. Have fun.

Love,
CJ

Can't vote. I'm over 60 and disagree.

Hi all,

Lydia,

Wow! You were quick on the button! =D> As I posted the poll, I noticed that there wasn't enough room for my last option (which was, indeed, "I'm over 60 and I disagree") so I had to reformulate all the options so as to be as inclusive as possible. Alas! I can make no room for the elders in the group who are over 65. I decided that 18 to 65 was a standard adult range so I might as well go with that. I apologize to anyone who feels left out--young or old.

Love,
CJ

CJ,
Hi I would have liked to have included an age variance but as you discovered you run out of options.

You have certainly posed an interesting Question from my point of view as an SO

Crossdressing is important to my sexual pleasure?

Two months ago a resounding -- I'm between 35 and 49 and I disagree ----- but then again two months ago I probably wouldn't have been here.

It may have been one of the sub question (rattling around in the empty space I have, that people usually call a brain) that led to my setting up the poll --------In that is Crossdressing important to my sexual pleasure------ now having taken longer than my usual two seconds to ponder before replying you can be sure that I am not sure (did warn you about the empty space between the ears   ). At this moment in time I voted ------I'm between 35 and 49 and I agree.------. However I must add that that is at this moment in time (as we all know all things are subject to change at any seconds notice and definately without prior warning)

The fact that my DH gets pleasure from dressing does sometimes spill over into the bedroom though thankfully I must say not always, if ever there came the time when it was a must for him to dress then I methinks a major reversal would result in my poll vote.

In Jess' poll I voted Dressing is not a sexual thing for me, however, here I've voted I'm between 50 and 65 and I agree., as I see each question as being different.

Dressing isn't sexual, but I prefer being dressed in my nightie when engaged in sex.

Oy, Lydia! I'm so sorry! I forgot you were 65 ΒΌ years old. My bad.

I do love you, sweetie. (--)

Love,
CJ

P.S.

Jess,

It hadn't occured to me that, the way I phrased the statement, SO's could respond as well. I hope I won't be accused of sexism here but I just hope that you gen-u-wine gals will refrain from responding to the poll as I suspect this will skew the results toward a negative outcome. Like you, I'm interested to see whether CD'ing is sexually important to the CD's on the forum. As a result of the e-mail exchanges, conversations, and chats I've had with a few SO's, I'm tempted to suppose that CD'ing is not to be considered the only possible enhancement to the sexual pleasure of an SO (ahem, er, is this the understatement of the year, or what? ).
