Hi ya Lovely ladies,
Have you ever wondered what life would be like if the world tomorrow, out of the blue accepted crossdressing.Would the thrill still be there, would you be totally relaxed and the big question, would you be out in the public as your femme .?
Do you think that if being transgendered was greeted by mankind that those of you who have partners that are'nt so accepting,do you think they then would accept .???
Love ya all
Hugs Penni,
we should all know our own self worth

I imagine if society were more accepting then my spouse would be also. But I really don't know how accepting she is anyway.
As for if it was all completely acceptable by society how would I feel, I have often wondered if that would take the thrill away from it or if it would just be a fun way to reinvent myself from time to time. However that sentance says an awful lot. Because reinventing myself to the extent of gender identification publicly is probably a big deal. I would think that someone who knew me could reasonably be expected to feel puzzledand wonder just who it was that I really was.
We have words to describe people who present differently in different situations. One of the more benign is chameleon. One of the less complimentary ones is fake. I'd have to ask myself if I was in danger of falling into such a category. Don't know the answer although I would hope that my basic values and personality would remain the same. Which would lead to another question, how would I expect myself to be different? And if there was no difference why do it? I'd better stop before I confuse myself......................

Initially, yes the thrill would still be there, and probably even bigger. How long the thrill would last is hard to say. Hopefully forever.
Relaxed? For sure!
Depends. I'd probably have a mixed appearance, like simply throwing on a skirt. No need for makeup or a wig.

I think so, or hope so. My wife's main problem is worrying what others would think. Heck, we can be driving down the road at 70 MPH and she'll worry about other folks, people she'll never meet, and what they might think.
I think my biggest concern would be over closet space. Not enough now as it is.

I do not crossdress for a thrill. I crossdress because I feel I need to.

Whew.....
That would be a big change in the world if that would happen! I'm not saying I wouldn't be thrilled for it to happen.... I'm just not holding my breath on it!
Anyway, like the others have said... there wouldn't be a loss of thrill for me either. I would be thrilled that I could dress however I'd like and go about my day, but I also don't dress for any type of "thrill".

I think it would be great, it would be eaiser to go more places and do more things. but I'm out all the time now and have been for the past 12 years. I get along fine, but I still must be very careful.

I have to say I've never thought about it before and they're good questions.
While I don't dress for the thrill, I do get a thrill out of dressing. I'd describe it as icing on the cake. If I lost that over time, I think I'd still dress since it's a part of me that goes deeper than any thrill.
Before going out in public, I would have to seriously lose weight which wouldn't be a bad thing. I find that male clothes are better for hiding those extra pounds.

I dress because it matches my feelings, not really for the thrill. Sexy lingerie is thrilling, and it would still be thrilling if the world accepted crossdressing; just as it's sexy for gg's.
Would I be out in public--yes! I would love for people to know who I am when I dress!
