Hello all you special people,
Have a little fun with this....if you can...
My son in Grade 7 had to do an essay sometime ago,on how he could describe where he lived to an Alian....yes that is an Alian from deep space. He had use all levels of language expansion etc.
So I thought that perhaps you could pretend that you have met an alian and you have to describe yourself and you lifestyle(hobby),do you think it would be easy to describe youself in detail or rather difficult.??????

AHHHH.....the five blind men explaining what a elephant is. That is how it would go, if I tried to tell an space alien about crossdressing. Trying to explain a concept to a person that has no concept of what your talking about would be next to impossible.

Time to let the creative juices flow.
Well I am one of the two types of people on the planet. Their are males and females. I am Male. In most cases the males and females where different types of clothing. Clothing being what covers up our bodies so that we are not naked as most people frown on nakedness. There are a small percentage of males that wear female clothing and I happen to be one of them. Some males do it to for sexual pleasure. Most however do it either because we feel we have to or we like the clothes. I am in the latter category.

Assuming they were able to translate my Earthly babble into something comprehensible, I would tell them there are three types of people on this planet. Males, females and those who like to morph at will between the two life forms. Does it need to be any more complicated than that?

Not wishing to be trite, but I would have them sit down and watch the movie, "A Girl Like Me!"
They would at that time either blast our planet into oblivion. I would hope I would be properly dressed for that event!
or
they would leave with the statement as they flew out of site, "Damn, grow -up will you?!"

Isn't "Plan 9 From Outer Space" supposed to be the worse movie ever made? At least they could identify with that. Oh, and it WAS made by a crossdresser too.

I'd take the alien to the mall, point out some of the gender differences, and then go into a few shops explaining the differences and similarities in clothes and why they were made that way.
Then I'd explain my need to dress in some of the clothes meant for women, and how, as of yet, our great scientinsts and biologists have been unable to discover the cause.
Then, if the alien was interested in more information, I'd discuss several of the theories with regard to nurture v. nature, hormones, genetics, chromosomes, the Intersexed, etc.

Stephanie......."Plan 9 From Outer Space" is not the worst movie ever made. In fact it is a classic.......The worst moive ever made is "Santa Clause vers the Martians". It was voted the worst three years in a row, by the Motion Pictures and Arts Society.

I guess it depends on which list you read, although it's up there with the worst of them (or maybe it should be
down there with the worst of them). Either way, I think our aliens would get a kick out of it - unless they were Martians, then they would probably enjoy your choice instead.
