They really don't care.

I had another doctor appointment this morning, so that my doctor, Karen could tell me the lab results and such. We had finished with reviewing the results and was pleased that everything was normal and my meds are doing what they should, and etc. Then she asks me when the last time I had my prostate checked. I told her I could not remember but it had been a while. So she says, “OK, drop them and bend over the table.” All of a sudden my heart rate jumps, and I start getting nervous. I am sitting there wearing a pair of bright PINK panties with White Lace Trim. I was not expecting this at all. On my last visit two weeks ago, I wore my drab undies in case she needs to exam something. So I get up, turn around, unzip, and pull my slacks down, then my bright PINK panties with white lace trim, and bend over the table. She does the exam and then says “OK, you can get dressed, OH BTW nice panties”. I swallow hard and say, “UGH, thanks”. She leaves so I can clean myself and get dressed. I meet her in the hallway and she tells me everything looks OK and to make another appointment for six months from now. It is really true; they don’t really care if a man is wearing panties. LOL

DonnaT......It is one thing to read about this happening to someone and something else when it happens to you. Guess it kinda caught me off guard at first. Then when she complimented me on my panties, I guess it was her way of saying "It's OK". I know I did feel better after that and I don't have to worry what kind of underware to wear next time. LOL

JoAnn:
It's just because of things like that, that I do have one pair of male undies just for the doctor.

Remember that folks like doctors usually take a lot of pride in their professionalism. To say anything nasty would have been unprofessional not to mention it would run the risk of alienating and or losing a patient.

Doctors have remain professional while doing stuff like telling you that you have a terminal disease. What underwear you have on is pretty small potatos by comparison I would think.

Still I only go to the doctor in total drab.

Two weeks before I had another doctor appointment where she did some other exams and tests. I wore my make shorts then. When she asked me to come back in two weeks, so she could discus the results, I felt that at that time that it would be OK to wear my normal panties. I was not expecting her to do another exam. LOL Really caught me off guard. Not sure why didn't to the prostate exam two weeks ago. On well, don't have to worry next time what to wear. LOL

A sister on another forum who is also a doctor told me that she more freaked out seeing a GG come in not wearing any panties than she is for a male to come in wearing panties. Go figure.

be sure to let us know the reaction.
This is in response to my wearing panties to a doctor's visit for a physical.

I'll post a reply on Monday when I get home.

Monday will be a very interesting day. After the doctor's visit, I am going to a spa for a full body massage (a gift from my wife on our anniversary). I was told you strip down to your underwear (black panties). Not only that, I am completely shaved. I am wondering what the reaction of the masseuse is going to be. Of course it is a female masseuse.

Right after that I am getting a makeup lesson at the spa. It is 1.5 hours long, so I hope to learn a lot of tricks. I am bringing my own makeup with me. That part will be in an open area in the spa. I'm building my courage up to do that one and hope I don't chicken out before Monday.

Don't worry about it!

Hi Hon
I've been to doctor visits, massages and things I won't mention and people don't give a crap. Enjoy yourself. No one will say a word.Trust me. I also look like a Mexican hairless Chihuahua in panties. It's a good look. Have a ball. Hugs

I got a call from the company today. The girl made a 'suggestion' that having a makeup lesson would make the men there feel uncomfortable, along with the makeup artist. I was a bit disappointed and the lady beat around the bush. She should have simply said we won't do it instead of trying to feed me some %#$$@$#^,

I canceled the lesson and the massage, at least for now. I'll make another appointment, but not at that location.

That's a terrible thing for them to say!

I'm suprised. Find a place that's gender friendly and freak those bozos. Your business is as good as anyone elses. You look great and are a nice person. I wish I lived close to you. You could give me the name of the Spa and I would pay them a visit and give them a piece of my mind! How stupid on their part. That's bad business. Their lose not yours. Big hug Hon.

Jeannie

PS I would bring my attack dog Marley to bite them. What the heck do people think we are going to do? They probably have serial killers going there for pedicures and they don't know it. Let a man is dress come in and they freak out! What's up with that? It make no sense. It's not you Robyn, it's them. Don't let others make you feel like you are not their equal. You are. At this point in my life I don't take any crap from anyone. You shouldn't take any also. You are not a bad person and don't let others make you feel that way.
love your new avatar! You're so cute!

Hi Robyn,

I'm surprised too by their attitude. I think maybe it's worth a formal complaint. Is it a big company? I agree with everything Jeannie has said, it's a disgrace that they have treated you like that. Why the hell would it make people uncomfortable? A man having making up put on...OMG .. ..OO...these people seriously need to get a life!

love,
Curly.
