What a Weekend for This Girl !!

General talk about CD/TGing and gender topics that aren't necessarily fun things we do while en femme, or for gender-driven discussions.

What a Weekend for This Girl !!

Post by Kandis »

Where do I begin this posting? That truly is the question that I have to ask myself. I guess it is best for me to start at the beginning (well close to it anyway). As many of you know, my 12 year old daughter knows about my dressing and there was quite a lot of doubt as to whether or not we would ever tell her 14 year old brother. The reason for this is we were not sure of what the boys reaction would be based on his being medicated for being a high functioning autistic. Now, the boy is not stupid, his brain is just much more active than most people.

ANYWAY, my darling wife and I took our wonderful daughter shopping yesterday as the poor girl had outgrown her bras and needed some new ones. (12 years old, wears a 36C ~sigh~), anyway, I digress.. We came home from the store (I got new panties by the way), and their father (whom lives with us along with the son in question) comes to me and says “Let’s go outside and talk for a few”. I say, “Okay”. We get outside and I ask what’s up and he says “I want to tell B***** about Kandis”. I respond with “????” He says that he thinks the boy will be okay with it and it will help alleviate some of the stress I have been dealing with as I am not able to be myself around the house and if we tell him it should be okay. Well, obviously part of me wants to go “YES!YES!YES!”, but the SMART part of me says “We need to bring “P***” into the conversation as it is not just his and my decision.”.

Long story short, wife agrees and we sit the boy down and tell him. His response “Eh.. I thought you were going to tell me something weird.”

So, now I am out to the WHOLE family in our home and can be myself and comfortable. I was quite skeptical but he appears to be taking it quite well and did not seem to have any issues last night with what I was wearing (jeans, over pantyhose and a body briefer). I am sure there will be more to this story as it continues developing, but I am floating on Cloud 9 right now. Thanks for listening ladies.

Good show, Kandis! This is the hardest part. When issues regarding your dressing will crop up (and they will), you'll be able to deal with them from a position of emotional strength, just by being who you are and by refusing to hide who you are. I wish you well.

Love,

Virginia,

I can understand your scepticism (I think that's what you were responding with), however the decision was made by their father that he should know because they are all living in MY house and therefore he felt that I should have the right to be myself in my house. I tried, albeit half-heartedly to not do it, but in the end the agreement was that it was time for him to be told.

So far, all is well as there has not been any issues, and he has seen me dressed a few times now while home.

I don't think Virginia was being sceptical, I think she was just reactiong to
and their father (whom lives with us along with the son in question)
the fact that their father lived with y'all. One doesn't hear of a husband wife and ex-husband all living underthe same roof.

Donna I agree that is a different setup.... I know of a couple that were divorced yet still living together. The stayed together to help each other take care of their son who had fallen on his head one day at school. It was a lot of hands on after that for quite some time. They had recently divorced and he was in the process of moving out. It was a civil divorce. One of the few I hear.

That does explain it. I do understand he scepticism in this instance, so if you would indulge me, I shall further explain the situation.

I met the love of my life 13 years ago while she was still pregnant with the daughter in question. The son in question was roughly 16 months old and I also met the father at the same time. He and the mother (my wife now) were dating at the time. They were never married to each other. When my third wife left me, she and I got together as they had been broken up for a number of years already. We married in 2002, and she moved to Texas. Earlier this year, his marriage went to pieces and we offered him and the son our spare bedroom. We are all very good friends, and have been since we met. He is a wonderful man and a great father to his children. I have been raising his daughter as my own since we married as the agreement for custody was we have the daughter and he has the son. Before they moved to Texas, we would alternate summers and Christmas vacations as to which parent had both children. Now that they live in Texas with us, while the idea is still there of shared custody, we all now live in our home (our = My wife and Mine) until he is able to find a job and get money to either rent or buy his own home. It may be hard to believe, but we all do get along very well, and we all three discuss the issues when it comes to the children.

Kandis,

Thanks for sharing this. It did not seem at all painful and that is a good thing. I will say in this open forum that I am very happy that you feel comfortable in sharing this with us. I did not want to be "nosey" but your initial post ---- well it kind of, shall I say, caught my eye!

I will say again, I hope you stay and continue to share with us. You will definitely bring an entirely different perspective to some of our discussions. You are a real sweetheart!

Thanks again,

Love ya,

It was desiged to "catch your eyes" as it were. I wanted to share with you all that I am FINALLY able to be myself around the house since the son now knows and so far all seems to be going well. I got up Sunday morning and went out to the living room and enjoyed my morning coffee still dressed in bra (with forms [sleep with foam ones]), panties, and nightgown. It was exhileratingly relaxing for me to be able to do that. :)

Hi Kandis
It's great if you can be yourself in your own home. Everybody else gets to do it,why not us?
There are all kinds of living situations that work for different people.
My sons friend Trevor has two Moms. Sarah who is bisexual lived on the second floor here for the last two years. Her parents live in a $750,000 dollar home and it's nuts. All the kids swear like troopers at their parents and they just ignore it and Sarah's father has his mistress living in the basement apartment. It's like a Saturday Night Live skit Kandis. I love it!
The last time I went over to bring my powerwasher Sarah was mowing the lawn while MF ing her Mother and calling her a F ing whore while her Dad was playing on the front lawn with a new nerf crossbow he just got from UPS oblivious and her Mom just calmly said to me "Would you like a coffee or drink?" It's a freakin' madhouse over there! And they say I'm not normal!
Now,since Sarah moved out it's back to normal. My son JP lives with his boyfriend Jason and their Gay voice teacher David lives next door. Three Gays and a tranny. The only time we worry Kandis is if Mini and her two girlfriends stop in. Three conservative Republicans who go to church every sunday. I just scream"Run for your lives!"
It's funny Kandis. Mini's best girlfriend is Candace. I call her the Dragon Lady. When I told her about me she said" If you were my husband I would of knocked you out or killed you! You should tell people exactly what you are at the start" Oh. Thanks so much for sharing that with me.
I did return the favor though. Her brother Mark is my accountant and cool with Jeannie. He snitched last year and told me Candace was having a surprise 50th birthday party planned with Mini and her girlfriends at an upscale restaurant in Woodbury CT. Enemy territory. Perfect. A strike behind enemy lines! I glammed to the max and showed up just as they were having dinner with roses and birthday ballons. If looks could kill I would of been dead Kandis! I gave Candace a big lipstick smooch on her forehead and gave her a birthday card that my best friend Gary had given to me before he died. He always hated Candace. It was perfect.
There was a picture of a Miss America type on the front that said" Happy Birthday....."
Inside in big bold letters it said"To the Queen of the F' ing Universe" Payback is a Bitch. I know Gary wherever he is loved it.
Mini and I are still married but she lives in a little condo on a lake and sends me all the bills. My motto is"The couple that lives apart stays together." Familiarity breeds contempt. Amen! Praise the Lord!
Enjoy your new found freedom Kandis. Big hug Hon.

OMG Jeannie.. that sounds like the apartments I used to live in in San Diego. Man how I remember the FIRST time I walked out of the apartment and down the stairs to my car as Kandis. There were not less than 10 people who came literally RUNNING out of their apartments to watch me leave... Two of the GGs became really good friends of mine after that day. ~ah.. the memories~
