Gold Seal breast forms
I didn't want to take the thread on Amoena breast forms off topic, so I'm starting a new one.
I have a 4 year old pair of Supersoft Transform Classic I asymmetric size 8 (44C) forms and one is torn and held together in several places with tape.
Right now I'm thinking of the asymmetric Gold Seals in size 8 as a replacement.
At first I probably would not attach them, but I like the idea of having that option.
I was wondering about other members experiences with the Gold Seal forms and how they compared with the Transform Classic Is, including relative size, softness, and durability.

Jadeanne,
I don't have experience with that particular situation but would like to suggest that you call or e-mail the folks at the breast form store as they have both forms.
I will say that, having recently purchased the Gold Seal triangle forms that I originally ordered the asymmetrical ones but they said that the asymmetrical ones are flat in back. Since I have some flab on my chest they suggested the triangle which have some space in the back.
Of course, it's best to get it from the horse's mouth so contact The Breastform Store.

Jadeanne,
I too have the Transform Classic which I purchased from the BS store. The person on the phone was so friendly and ask the right question as to what you are looking for in a size, My wife said a C cup for my build a size 6.
I have had them for a long time now with no problems as I wash and power them as per the instruction that came with them. Good luck

I purchased a size 11, to fill a 46D bra.Jadeanne wrote:Connie,
Thanks for your reply.
My current Transform Classic 1's from the Breast Form Store also have a flat back, so the Gold Seal asymmetrics should work fine for me.
What size did you buy?
I'm sure I'm not the only one who would appreciate periodic updates.

A quick status. I received the double sided "V" tape. There were 36 at $19.95 they also included 12 packs of "Skin Tac Wipes.
I wiped myself with rubbing alcohol prior to using the Skin Tac Wipes, they are rather sticky but a definite plus.
I tried to attach the "V's" to the back of my Pals and they would NOT hold AT ALL!!!!!!!! The Pals have a rather porous back and are simply an extension of the entire thing. They are great but are strictly to be worn with a bra.
I then tried my "set" that I got from my friend that transitioned. They have a, like smooth clear coating on the back. They are on and holding quite nicely so far. I will report later on how the staying power and removal goes. But so far, I like the BF store's "V's" and the Skin Tac Wipes.

I JUST BOUGHT THEM.....
I just ordered, from the Beasts Forms Store, a pair of the GOLD SEAL Premium Attachable Asymmetrical Forms @ $169 a pair. Nancy, the person who talked with me, was most helpful and I learned some good things from her. She walked me through everything and helped me understand all I did not already know. It was good too. For I was able to talk with her about several things I've been wondering about and she answered my every question.
I ought to have them in the next few days as they are being shipped from here in Texas.
So I shall see!

Roberta,
Congratulations on the purchase! If the assymetrical forms are like the triangles that I have, they are made with a very thin edge so the blend to the body is very good.
If you ordered them early enough in the day, you may see them arrive on Wednesday. It depends on their processing time.
Good luck with them!

Thank you Connie. I ordered them about 3 p.m. today. Maybe a bit later.
But I am definitely looking forward to them. I told Nancy, who assisted me, that many of you on the forum had recommended them and their company. She was pleased to hear that too.
So I am counting the hours...hehehe Maybe they will arrive the same day as my new wig I ordered over the weekend. *YEA!*
Have a beautiful evening.
