Is It Just Me?

I know it has to be because I have been hidden for sooo long. To be frank, I get the biggest thrill from shaving my legs. When CarlyAnn suggested that Hailey should start enjoying our new found privacy, I think the the first thing I did was hit the shower. Is it just me?
I shaved before when Hailey first came out but quit when she went away. Even when I'm dressed in drab(had to ask CarlyAnn what that means), I'm still Hailey in my own little way. Secretly. Only CarlyAnn, and I know. Which kind of sucks being summer and all. I am working up to being seen with shaved gamms. I went out all summer shaved when I first came out with Hailey, 8-9 yrs. ago. I'm older now and concern myself with our reputation and standing. We live in a small town, need to say more?
By the way, my posting should look better now that CarlyAnn just taught me how to make paragraphs on this computer. We were pretty much com. illiterate until 6 months ago. It goes both ways, She has been trying to move her avatar to this forum from her yahoo mail, all day. I move various pictures around this computer all the time. You know, my alter ego likes the bad sites. Enough about paragraphs already.
Anyway, hairy legs look rediculous in stockings.

Yeah, I reply to my own post. If I may. Has anyone tried the 5 blade razor from Gillett? CarlyAnn picked one up for me several months ago. Previously when I shaved my legs, I never had the skills to get around my knees without a nick or two. This 5 blade wonder has given me the smoothest shave I've ever had. Is it just me?

here, here Haily, I am completely shaved save my long hair. I initially started with just bikini shaving when I first started wearing panties, then the whole pubic area. Then completely shaved before going to Desert Shield in 1990, but that was because we heard from the advanced party that there was a bad body lice problem over there, (I never had them).
In the past few years I expanded to wearing stockings and thigh-hi's and you're right, hairy legs in stockings looks disgusting.
Then I had a lung collapse, and when they repaired it they had to shave my left arm pit. I felt like a clipped chicken, flying sideways, so I started shaving both. I feel so much more feminine shaved and sexy in my femme clothes. But my wife and daughter complain about my taking so long in the shower. Hey, it's hard work being girlie ***()*** ^^_|| *-*

HI Hailey,

First, unless it is an immediate family member no one is going to ask you if or why you shave your legs, it just ain't gonna happen - sorry, but no one cares!!!!! ---------------------- however, if they do, somewhere in the archives are a list of responses to such inquiries, from one extreme to the other, depending on your own intestinal fortitude.

...........:and this affects you, how?
I have the ebola virus and it makes your hair fall out!
I have a rare, contagious cancer!
I had not noticed! Thanks for telling me!!
It falls out due to stupid questions!
It helps in my sport of ______________ (insert sport! = biking, swimming, tennis, ping pong, skiing, bowling, golf and on and on)

I too use the Gillette 5 blade and it does do a great job!!!

Love,

Virginia

When CarlyAnn and Hailey first met, Hailey went all out. Shaved legs, armpits, lower area, all. I can't do the pits, and don't miss that. As work in my customers homes, doing the armpits when I occasionally remove my work t shirt, I'd better have a tank on.
Here I am now, legs are enough. I hate the itch further south. And thank-you for your service to this country.

I love having my legs, as well as the rest of my body shaved. Me and Raven(SO) were just talking tonight about how great it feels when one's legs are all silky smooth. I shave mine everyday because I hate even the slightest bit of stubble. Anything other than smooth kinda grosses me out.

Love always,
Elizabeth

Soon you'll find that no one cares, except you and CarlyAnn, and that all that matters.

Shaved pits are great. Less places for bacteria to hide when sweating, thus less odor. And in the warmer weather, a bit cooler without the "fur coat."

So, if anyone should ask, just say you feel cooler.

I guess all of you gals are right, who cares. For now though, the legs are enough. I do like your suggested answers Virginia. I'll keep them in mind in case it comes up.
You ladies have a great day. I'm sure I'll be posting when I get home. It looks like rain so I might have a short day.
Last night CarlyAnn offered to put my first Face on for me. Unfortunately by the time we finished with dinner, it was too late to fully enjoy it so I decided to wait till this weekend. But what is important is that it was CarlyAnn that suggested the idea. She has come so far this time. Baby steps I keep telling myself. All your guidance has helped us both. Have a great day. Hailey.

Hailey,

Honey I shave all over and when I had my last phyical exam I seen the look on the doctors face. I told him right up front it was because I seem to catch every tick in the country (makes for easy finding and removing). he told me to try spraying before I go out in the woods. :P ,

Knees are easy just bend them and the skin tighten and makes for a clean shave.

I also love the feeling of my legs freshly shaved, whether it be in jeans or stockings, it just feels GOOD. I guess I am lucky to be one of the few males in my family with very sparse body hair to begin with, I think I have more trying to grow on my ears now than on my torso,LOL.

For shaving, I get along wonderfully with the 3 blade razor, but did receive one of the 5 blade ones in the mail for a promotional offer. I was honestly amazed at how smooth it left my face when i used it, so now, before I do my makeup, i will use a 3 blade, shower, then repeat my shave with the 5 blade, and I have found I don't even get the faintest shadow later in the evening, and hardly ever find the tiny stubble when touching up my makeup.

Hailey, if you are concerned about your legs being smooth if you wear shorts in public, just look around at others, you will be surprised at the numbers that have little to no leg hair showing also, so it's not something to really worry about, IMHO.

Thanks for the tip on double shaving, I'll try it when I get to the whole makeup stage. It's funny you mention that you like the feeling on your legs in jeans. This morning as I was walking around to the back yard to service their A/C, a nice breeze blew up my pant leg and gave me a chill, and a smile. It's the little things I enjoy the most. And I can say, I doubt I'll be worrying about being seen with naked legs in the future if I get the shivers in a good breeze.

You'd be surprised just how little people do notice. The only ones who will notice your legs are shaved are probably crossdressers too. I wear Keds Champs all the time and have worn spandex(black) briefs to the gym. Never a word from anyone. I was reading some earlier posts about talking to GGs while shopping. I've had women ask me questions about blouses, etc. while shopping. Most people just don't care or notice.

Don't give shaved legs another thought, its not really that out of the ordinary to see athletes with shaved legs or for that matter many other reasons. There is not any reason to give it a second thought or worry about explaining.

A great deal of my leg hair fell out due to thyroid problems. I didn't like it and would rather have my thyroid back but that's another story. The only person who ever commented was my brother who asked what happened to my leg hair. A legitimate question to which I gave a legitimate answer.
