Which is better? I'm going to get ultra smooth and want to use some exfoliator. Before or after I remove my body hair?

I agree with Caith, that stuff, Nair, et. al. seems to work, but if you don't follow the directions and have any sores or cuts or even abrasions (like for exfoliation) ------ OUCH!
I would follow Donna's recommendations and exfoliate every two or three days anyway. There are some good products out there just for that!!!
Good luck!

i use st ives apricot scrub to exfoliate and like how it works. i would agree to exfoliate after using a depilatory. my problem is when my hair grows back in it grows curly and ends up growing back into the skin, like an ingrown hair on my face. i feel this happens less when i take the first couple layers off with apricot scrub after exfoliating.

ex foliate after so you dol not get a chemical burn also
with any depilatory you do not want to work the skin before you use it/
i.e. sweating,shaving,rubbing,washing ect.
