Anyone tried this?

Post by Virginia »

I came across this site ShaveNoMore.com. I read most of it and it seems that it requires you to undergo hair removal first or be in the process, i.e., electrolysis, waxing, (I would assume laser) then you apply this "lotion" and it helps prevent hair from returning.

Has anyone tried this or are you currently using this product. It says that they will return your purchase price if you are not satisfied, and it is endorsed by Mr. Olymipia, but that does not mean much.

Anyway, comments??

I would imagine electrolysis and/or laser would end the hair regrowth after a number of sessions. Don't know why they would think anyone would need that stuff once undergoing electrolysis/laser.

Well, I had 12 sessions of neck and facial laser and it seems to have nailed all the black (brown) hair. But I still have my white fuzzy stuff which is very easy and fast to shave. Actually, lots of GGs have certain facial hair problems also (ok here it comes from the GGs). Main thing laser did was do away with any shadow!!!! So, I will checkout that site..maybe can shave even less! BTW, I did grow a beard once just to see if I could...I looked like one of the 7 dwarfs, so love that I can't anymore

has anyone tried "Smooth Aways". I got one as a gift and tried using it four times and can not tell if it works or not.

Smooth Aways are worthless. I bought one for my wife and one for myself. Like most "as seen on TV" items, it's a waste of money.

I wish it would work and I would get some for both me and my wife. And yes they have a money back guarantee but it is very strict.

"Please try our product for 60 days and if for any reason you are not completely satisfied simply return the unused portion in the original container within 67 days of receiving your order (60 day trial + one week return shipping), and we will refund you 100% of the product purchase price, excluding shipping & handling."

So you have to try it for 60 days and then have 7 days to send it back if it does not work and you want your money back, less shipping and handling. But I could not find how much of the cost is shipping and handling. And when I went in looking a chat window comes up pushing a sale. Even offering an extra bottle for free. Sounds like more of a scam to me. Just my 4 cent input.

It it actually worked, if they were smart they would have several CDers try it out and be spoke persons for the product. And they could sell a ton of the product.
