my new dress

I just picked up my new summer dress on Saturday. This is one that I had my friend Peggy make for me. OK, it's a little late, summer being mostly over, but I was really busy all summer and she was doing other things, so it took a while longer than planned.
Anyway, it's really cute, being the same style as one she had given me that she had made for herself, but this has cap sleeves and is a light blue with a summery pattern of flowers, sailboats, etc.
I know you all want to see pictures, I don't have any now but maybe will get some. It fits perfect and is the exact style and fabric that I like.
So that is really my point, you don't know how nice a dress can be until you have one made just for you in the style and material you select. It's so much more fun than shopping in a department store for whatever they have. And it is really pretty reasonably priced, well worth it.

It's always especially nice to wear clothes made for you by a friend, regardless of the clothings gender. Enjoy!!!!

OK, OK, OK then. I will post some pics. First I have to get my luggage back, the airline should deliver it tonight. So tomorrow I will take some pics and post them. I don't know about a fashion show though unless you want to call it "grunge meets Bulgarian peasant." Not a pleasant thought. I guess big name designers WON'T be showing up at my door to sign up.
