Shaving tough spots

Post by Jackie K. »

Since coming out last month, I have been shaving all over. Two spots that I'm having trouble with are around the edges of my nipples and the very top and sides of my chest. I'm having trouble getting close to the edges of my nipples. Around the top of my nipples no matter how many times I go over the area I always seem to leave behind some hair. I consider myself to be moderately hairy.

Any advice?

Also curious if anyone has tried any of the hair removal creams and if you have any recommendations?

Thanks for the help.

Jackie :)

My only advice is to stay from things like NAIR as believe me it will burn your skin in a heart beat.

Carol is lucky as I have little are no hair and I only had a hair on a nipple and pulled it out with a pair on tresser. \:D/

Jackie,

I use Veet hair removal cream for my once a month hair removal on my body. I use it on my arms, legs and chest area with good results and if there is any stubble afterwards I use my razor to clean that up. I leave it on for more than the time it says to because male hair is thicker than womens hair but not more than 10 minutes. Hope this helps you.

Hi Jackie,

I have had success with Sally Hanson extra strength spray and shower foam. In particular on that pesky hair around the nipple. Worked well on legs and underarms as well. Disappointing results on the under the chin neck hair and mustache.

The instructions say to spray on and get into a warm shower 3 minuets later. Of course it is on longer than 3 min. for what you spray first. I cheated on time and waited one or two more.

Take heed of Carol Ann's warning about nair, or any of the ones we have recommended. They are all caustic, they work by literally melting the hair. They can leave you with nasty chemical burns.

I have resorted to tweezers for around the nipple area. I also have used the mach 5 razer with the lube strip that can be moved to have the blade closer to the edge for close shaves.
