breast forms

Post by Myranda »

Alright ladies so I have a few questions about breast forms. Right now I'm rocking large party balloons 80%filled with water so the latex isn't tight. That way when I walk it jiggles and isn't obvious I have balloons under my shirt haha. I want to upgrade because if you bend over they fall out or some out of place... which is quite inconvenient

So I was curious what forms should I look at and where to get them. I don't want super cheapos...for obvious reasons however I don't want those 500 dollar supreme deluxe ultra awesome breast for s (only because they are out of my price range. I don't believe I'll ever have a low cut shirt to show them off mainly because most seem like they never match your skin and that'd look awkward. Want ones that fit into bras nice and properly, hopefully jiggle a little (don't want rocks) and can be adhered to me at least a little but. Thanks for all the help.

(I did ask this question in a different post however I feel it's more appropriate to ask it in a new thread with an aprppriate title hahah)

I believe the type of bra and forms you're looking for are is a true mastectomy bra and insert. I know there is a company called Amonea that sells this. Website is: http://www.amoena.us" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
They have a store locater on the site but others may respond to your post with better suggestions.

Phone won't let me open any links on that page you shared Megan however it looks like it could be promising.

I was looking at some thing like these http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00KHF7GX ... 5S2G9BK66U" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; but they look nice but like I said I've never bought a pair before so idk what to look for :\

Look for forms that fit your body shape , that are proportional to your body. Don't go for the Dolly Parton look.

Try searching http://www.thebreastformstore.com/breas ... talog.aspx" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I bought a pair of Amolux to give me a B cup. My frame could handle and still look good with a C and maybe a D if I wanted to but I'm not looking for attention, just to fill out a bra and have nice fit with a blouse cut for a woman's shape.

At 5'8" and 170 lbs a B looks normal. Going too big will not look right and draw stares, unless that's what you want.

Myranda,

The Husband has two sets of forms, both from the Breast Form Store, thankfully bought before I knew. Good ones are expensive, but both were under $300 each. The ones in the link you provided seem to just have a lot of projection with little on the sides. There are styles that fill in the sides of a bra as much as the front. I believe that looks more natural than just pushing out a blouse, like water balloons.

You'll never be able to show off cleavage unless it's your own skin. End of that fantasy.
Find a style and size you might like, using a computer screen instead of a teeny phone might help, and then look for what you choose on E-bay.

This is why I ask you ladies!!! :) I guess I didn't mean that pair in particular just something like that. Having an open shirt would be a fantasy but I know it's out of my reach so no worries :) looking through eBay it's a lot of the same stuff, either more or less like the ones I posted, far to small, clearly junk, or ultra cheap which I don't trust. I think 300 might be a bit steep yet but I'll check it out :) what makes your husband's so good???

That is hard to answer, Myranda. How to compare between natural tissue to an add on prosthetic to a person that never had the experience? Will breast forms ever feel 'real'? No, not ever. Forms are in a bra, even glued on, they are never part of your chest tissue. Even implants are not the same.

To get close to natural breasts in presentation, look for forms that are super soft, have a triangle shape, and concave in the back. Those should give you the giggle you want (not to much, that's slutty) and fill out the entire bra cup. The triangle shape will fill out the sides.

This is only my opinion based on what we at home have discussed. I have no idea how they 'feel' when wearing them any more than Hubby knows how mine feel to me.

In E-bay searches, stick to known brand names. Slightly imperfect forms are really affordable.

Never heard of femskin so I went to their site. Prices are towards the expensive side if you ask me. Looking at the pictures, some looked downright odd. The picture of the triangular shaped pair looked like the edges were unfinished in that they didn't look smooth. Here's one thing I look at when it comes to web sites; if it looks amatuerish, can I trust the company to be any better? I mean if the best they can do is put up an odd bunch of pictures how do I know it's the photographer or the product that has problems. I would rather see one well made web page than a bunch of not so good ones.

As for a body suit or maybe a full chest piece? Well I like latex and on that vane, I think that might feel pretty good. As for wearing that stuff for passing in public? No thanks. I might as well wear a car. I want the feel my clothes, I want to feel the wind; I want to feel natural. Looking natural? Heck woman come in all shapes and sizes and I doubt many look plastic or gosh forbid, smell plastic. What kind of maintenance would those larger pieces of fake body need? Latex has requirements to keep it wearable, latex forms included.

Now looking at the site, their target audience is transgender folks. I am leary of sites specializing in us for one very specific reason. They have somewhat of a captive audience and sadly many in that target population are ignorant of what's out there for anyone or too scared to go find out. On the other side, maybe we have special needs, like a dress made for the male body, but honestly, I can find anything I need in the public domain without going to a specialty shop.

Oh my... did a ramble? Bottom line, Myranda... Keep shopping and look for 3rd party reviews and comparisons of anything expensive.

I don't mind a good rambling every now and then ;) haha. And gosh no I'd never get a suit, I think I'd sweat so much I'd pass out. Plus like you, I also want to feel the clothes on my skin.

http://www.femskin.com/femforms.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; this is the site... just so we were on the same page haha. Do you have a site for the $150 range??

I bought the teardrop forms a few years ago. They fit my body shape well so I still use them but I am trying to go for something with a little more natural look now and am looking at a triangle breast form.

Another suggestion is http://www.lovemybubbles.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Never bought anything from them but they cater to women, not just CDers. The CD/TG only sites seem to make and sell products that just seem to lack quality and are over priced.

Oops, too late to edit, but I see in my last post, I wrote 'giggle' instead of 'jiggle'. On this subject, giggle works just as well. :)
When wearing breast forms, a helpful hint is to pop them into the leg section of old pantyhose. My husband says this makes them feel warmer in cold months and reduces chest sweat between skin and silicone.
