Waxing vs Threating? Eyebrows for every occasion!
I have always gotten my eyebrow thread even before I start dressing, however I just had them make them look similar but to keep the masculinity. Now I want something that works for my face shape but gender neutral style. I know think brows are a thing now. But which is better and what is a good play to go? Is walmart a good place and what would I tell the person doing my eyebrows? Which do you do?

Waxing will last longer, thus, if you like the result, good; if not, then you're stuck for a spell.
Threading is no different than plucking. I pluck my own, but just to keep neat. Nothing too thin.

Yeah, what is the rage about threading? You can't tell me a good pair of tweezers in the same lady's hands will slow her down any. That lady probably started with tweezers and got into the threading gimmick because ladies will pay more for it. What I find odd are the ladies going to a kiosk in the middle of a mall to be threaded.
As Donna said, waxing should last longer; but again, it's another version of plucking but I think it does a better job of getting any follicle left behind. I did my eyebrow shaping the hard way; I did it permanently with electrolysis.
Now to answer Toni's questions. Go where other women tell you to go. Your Walmart might have the best stylist around or the worst. Do you want to chance it one way or the other? Some people swear by Yelp; I'm iffy.
Once you pick the place you want to do your eyebrows? Tell them what you want. Personally, the most important thing about your eyebrows is correctly shaping the arch. It doesn't matter if you have thick brows or thin, but if you go in and come out permanently surprised or like Munster, then you picked the wrong place. Tell them you want a nicely shaped fem arch -- period. That arch will be as manly as you want it. The rest of the shaping will fully dictate the look. If they cut your inch long eyebrow hairs down to a 1/4 inch, then that might be a bit fem. So have them work on the arch and just "neaten them up" like touching up your haircut. After you see that, then you can tell them to cut more if you want.
Then as Donna does, you can keep the stray down by plucking them yourself. How do you know a stray from the brow? The ones not in the nice line the stylist made for you. If you're worried, get the obvious ones and in a few months get your brows done again. You can get a little trimmer doohickey with guides to keep the length of the eyebrow hair the length you want. I do that when I am ready to go out fem. I get my uniform length back before doing my brow makeup etc.
