Re: Nightwear
Satin nighties of course.
Well, we all have a face
That we hide away forever
And we take them out
And show ourselves when everyone has gone
That we hide away forever
And we take them out
And show ourselves when everyone has gone

Re: Nightwear
I tried something new last nite. Normally I'm not that big on teddies and only admired them "from afar", and always thought of them as a "one piece baby doll", and never owned one (until yesterday) because of torso length issues. Even though I've always admired that style, most of them were way too short for me in the torso. Well, I found the perfect one yesterday. I found it at a local consignment store. Don't know the brand as it had the tags removed, but it looked like it might fit me, so I tried it on and...perfect fit! It looked brand new. I was so excited, just like a kid on Christmas morning. It is "hot pink" nylon and lace with black lace trim around the bodice and widely flared leg openings (in front). It is thong style in back with a big pink satin bow tied to the "string" in the back so the bow covers my backside.. It has a matching chiffon bed jacket (for modesty of course, LOL, you can see right through the jacket). The jacket has all-lace 3/4 length sleeves. So glamorous, so sexy and so very feminine and also extremely comfortable, I just want to wear it all day and all night! I don't ever want to take it off.
A little hint on lace that another member gave me---launder it a couple of times before wearing. That way it won't be "scratchy".
hugs,
Deb

Re: Nightwear
It has been cold here (of course it's Winter), and I have been wearing flannel lined leggings or ladies Cuddle Duds (sp) with an oversized long sleeve t-shirt and cute cabin socks to keep my feet warm. I've seen that look in the Sunday supplements in the paper, and I love that look!
Dressed like that, I thought about slipping my ladies barn boots on and a car coat and going to get gas in the car early in the morning the other day. That's a goal before the Winter is over.

I don't think I could handle a long gown. I would be afraid with the way I toss and turn in the night. I would become wrapped like a mummy.

Re: Nightwear
I wear cotton nighties either long or midi. I don't do so to feel feminine I just don't like pjs. I wear cotton for comfort.

Re: Nightwear
Depends on temperature...flannel or a lighter cotton...can be long...a gown...shorter a night shirt...or perhaps something even cooler a chemise. If it is really warm through the summer a shorter cooler chemise is comfortable. Of course If I happen to be feeling kind of sexy a silky pretty Chemise is a nice way to sleep.
