HI. I'm new and I have a question?
Whats the easiest and most cost effective way, To create curved hips....Other than buying a pair of padded panties?
Can you use cushioning foam or Large sponges and how best to fit them?
Caution.....Curves??

Daphne,
That's a very good question and there are many answers, depending on your imagination and skills.
I am going to break down and buy a pair of padded panties, but will tell what I do now, rather crude but it works for me.
I put 4 pieces of packing foam squares that I saved from work between 2 pairs of panties - the outside pair is too large for regular wearing. Then I lace on my corset and that forces the foam to the proper shape. To keep the pads from slippng down I then wear control panties over them.
You could certainly try the soft foam and maybe sculpt it a bit to round the edges. If you are handy enough in sewing, you could make pockets in a pair of panties to keep them in place.
I hope I have given you some ideas to start with.

Take some soft spongy foam (like used for couch coushions) and sculpt them using a pair of sissors to desired shape and thickness (make sure edges are tapered well). I get my foam from a fabric store (JoAnnes Fabrics)
The foam can be inserted under the top part of an old pair of panty hose (legs cut off). Put on a pair of pantyhose, then the top part of the old hose. Insert foam where you want it.
You can even sew a couple of these top pieces together to form pockets around the foam to hold them in place. Makes going to the bathroom easier too of the foam doesn't fall out.

Ihave taken the same as DonnaT has, I use 1/2 inch foam. I have tapered all my hip pads from wide( curved top for hips) then tapered to my knee to a sharp edge. I insert these in a pair of cut off panty hose. then mark it on the hose. where it cames to my knee, sew it there then put it on again ( i do one leg at a time). after I have both pads fitted where i want i . I slip a second pair over , Works pretty good until you have to "go". along time isspent getting everthing back in order. But when i am out i do get looks from alot of guys , just from my hips. I changed my avatar so you could see how the hips look. hope this helps you. Kristen
Do want you want to do, be who you want to be.
