I use those enhancers when I want an a cup look, and enjoy them. They were worth the $15.
To measure for a bra there are lots of sites, Her Room for example has a good one. But in short, take off your shirt, get a tape measure, and measure just under your male breasts. Add about 4" This is your band size. It's not the actual measurement, having to do with marketing sizes that have attractive numbers. A 36" band fits a 32" torso, but that number used to upset people back in the day of 36-24-36 when they were designing these measurements.
You can pick your cup size since you just have male breasts. My experience when ordering inserts is that they are for women having had masectomys, so you'll want to subtract a size to allow for normal male breast tissue, which is there in the form of either flab, pecs, or both, even though it doesn't look like a female breast.
Because I am a size 40 or 42 depending on the bra, I often get bras slightly too small and use an extender. The size 42 bras are often just too massive.
Plan on wasting a little money before you find what you like. You can go to Walmart and try them on in the mens dressing room if there are no attendants, and the bras are inexpensive.
how do i buy a bra?

I really recommend trying on bras if you can. My favorite places where it's easy to do are Kohl's (use men's dressing room, all are untended) and the lingerie outlet stores like L'Eggs-Hanes-Bali and Maidenform, all of which have always been fine with me trying on. You can bring your forms in with you too.

i bought a bra and panty set! its really cute,i was nervous as all hell.i measured a 40 but couldnt find any 40 bras so i bought a 38 c cup.it fits its a bit snug but i wore it all day and it was fine.i also liked how the c cup made my body look.i stuffed it with shoulder pads since im still waiting for the shipment of my filets.they may not work with this new bra.its also a padded bra.but im happy with my purchase and the panties that came with it are adorable.id post a pic of me in it but i think that might be innapropriate here lol.

Well done Trina
, good to know that just like the rest of us you listen to all the advise and then go and do just what you want to anyway!
I am sure that you will get more than reasonable pleasure out of this purchase, and will treasure the memory of makeing the purchase as much (well nearly as much) as the wearing

Trina, you might want to look in to some bra back extenders. They are the greatest invention ever. You just hook them on to the band in back, and it gives an extra inch or two. So now you can buy that cute bra that you really like, but they don't have your size, and just make it a little bigger.
I first came across them in Bulgaria. My luggage was lost so I was in a panic to buy new bras and panties. I found a bra that I really liked with matching panties but it was the wrong size. So I was telling the lady helping me that it didn't fit, and an older lady reached under the counter, pulled one of these out, and just like magic the problem was solved.
I have only found them in black, white, and beige here (the US) which is a bummer because most of my bras are some color.
And while you're at it, get some sassy straps.
