Breast Forms

Post by Crystyna »

I wasn’t sure whether to put this thread under “Fashion and Beauty” or “Dear GG”, as both could easily apply, but like my Intro thread, this is open to both TGs and GGs.

How much cleavage do Foam Fillers provide compared with Silicone breast forms, and Silicone bra breast forms?, and what are the Pros and Cons of these three types of items?

I’m having to economise, so I can’t afford the expensive breast forms, at least for now, unless the £70 upwards forms are available around half the price elsewhere. Most sites sell both economy and deluxe forms, but the deluxe forms are all about £70 to £350, which is well beyond my means, as good as they look, and free from straps and tape would be best to simplify things.

I might buy a few forms in time, but I’ll be dressed up at Halloween and want to get a cleavage as realistic as possible on the outside, even if the breast forms don’t look or feel realistic on the inside, as I’d be showing little or no cleavage, although if there are any forms that feel close to the natural thing, all the better. As I’ll be attending a party, medium or large sized breasts would add drama to my appearance!, but as I don’t live on my own, for discretion, it’s essential that the supplier doesn’t reveal details of their company name or the type of products the company sell in its packaging and credit card statements for discretion. I’m going to place my order for at least one pair of breast forms or bra breast forms over the next few days so I can ensure they arrive in time with my other items for the party but felt it best to ask for advice first, as I’m relatively inexperienced and want to ensure I get the best appearance balancing what’s available with what I can afford.

Here are breast form products I’ve found (I don’t how dramatic any of these are for appearances):

http://www.doreenfashions.com/store/bre ... forms.html
15 - Silicone Breast Enhancers £29.99
17 - Light Weight Oval Foam Fillers £14.99 (What’s the equivalent Cup size of “size 4” fillers?, to give me an idea of how large the cleavage would look)
18 - Light Weight Triangle Foam Fillers £14.99
26 - Silicone Underbust Bra Inserts £22.99

http://www.fantasygirl.co.uk/acatalog/Breast_Forms.html
“Nearly Me Foam Fillers”
“Economy Beauty Breasts with nipple”

http://www.fantasygirlonline.co.uk/fgvi ... lTGBra.wmv - Best price at the next outlet, fine if packaging and credit card details are discreet
http://www.thebreastformstore.co.uk/see-thru-bras.aspx
A bit naughty if worn on their own, but perfect for big coverage, most discreet (eg nipples not shown) if worn under dark clothes, but ideal for large cleavage.
As the breast forms are in pockets, they can be removed and presumably could also be worn under any bras, corsets and basques.

For those of you, probably goth, who wear men size New Rock boots, do you wear the same size as boots and shoes of other brands?, and are New Rocks safe to wear when you drive and dance?, and

Are there any UK outlets which sell Batgirl and Catwoman costumes?

Crystyna, is it size you are looking for or cleavage? For cleavage there is a product called a NuBra or on the doreenfashions site a similar product is the Invisi bra. It is a bra with a tacky surface. You put on each cup and then pull them together and hook them giving you some cleavage and size. I was surprised at what it could do with what little I have. But I was unable to wear it braless. But that was ok with me as I put a bra and forms over them. I was then able to wear is all day without slipping.

I have a pair of the silicone enhancers that I really like. They add about 1 1/2 cup sizes. Also a pair of water filled enhancers which add a cup size. And I have a pair of home made birdseed beanbags which are not quite as comfortable and are hard, but look pretty good.

The problem with the water filled enhancers and foam things is weight. They are much lighter than natural breast tissue. Coupled with the fact that most of the additional height in the male body is due to a longer torso this leads to them not having a good drape and also riding too high on my chest which is uncomfortable. I find that appearance wise the best effect is achieved with the bean bags. 2nd best is achieved by combining the silicone enhancers with the water filled enhancers but this only works with certain bras. My favorite at this time is to just use the silicone enhancers which have the proper weight and are the most comfortable and I just appear to be someone with size A breasts. They are defienitly there, don't look anything like my male pecs, and go well with the look of many of the clothes I wear. But for halloween I will be resurrecting the bean bags since the money for full size BFs would be better spent on college for the kids and the bean bags definitly look the best. Of course if you go to hug someone at the party they will feel a bit like rocks but after all it's halloween.

If you go to a sexy lingerie store like Satin and Lace you can try on whatever they have and ask questions. An awful lot of their clientele is men, both shopping for others and for themselves. I found Bare Neccesities to be quite pleasant about this, especially just before Halloween. I think they get a bit of sadistic pleasure out of seeing men endure what women have to endure in terms of finding a good bra. But they were very nice. Don't try Victorias secret unless you are petite and even then they may not appreciate your requests.

I agree 100%. NuBras are great. Even helps me and I don't have much to work with. The only problem is, with skinny girls like me, is that if you place them far apart and pull them close to get the desired effect you can yank the clasp right out of them. I am now on my second set. At $65 dollars a pair an expensive lesson to learn. I should of tried the knock offs first when learning how to use them.

It could be both size and cleavage. I want to vary between demure (small) for a "girl next door" image and large for a traffic stopping image, and medium, in between, but while there are many options, it's the price factor that holds me back, as £70 (or about $117 USA) upwards is the cheapest price range I can find for large breast forms.

There are "chicken fillets", but their coverage is limited, as basically, you get what you pay for, but I can't afford the very realistic price ranges of breast forms.

Probably a Bra, which while not necessarily the most dramatic for optimum fake cleavage, would very likely give at least a noticeably different appearance, whether I wear PVC or fantasy costumes, or indeed any clothes covering the bra. Bras are much cheaper than the best breast forms.

I've tried very cheap "chicken fillets" where you hook both forms together, but at least in my case, the hook keeps coming off.

I've seen so many breast forms online, but irrespective of the prices, the amount of detail given isn't always very clear, so Oval or Triangle foam breast forms, for instance, might say "Up to Size 4" or "Up to size 7", but there's nothing in the description to say what the Cup size is.

Another dilemma I find is that, as Ladies' size clothes differ from men's, whenever I see a tag stating a Ladies' size, I don't know what the male equivalent is, so that, if I see say "24" (Ladies), unless I try on the outfit, I don't know what the men's size equivalent would be so I can gauge which Ladies size I'd need for female/tranny outfits. I recently tried on a size 24 (Ladies size) PVC skirt. It was very tight, so I must need 24+, possibly 30+ Ladies size clothes.

I might go for a fantasy costume for my next dressing experience. There are so many around, School Girl, Policewoman, French Maid, Nurse, Gothic Nurse, Batgirl, Catwoman, Alice in Wonderland, the list is endless! I've never been involved in the types of events that are sometimes associated with Fantasy costumes, but in my case, I'd just be going for the dressing up.

Everyone's advice is very useful, but reading up on this subject, the overall impression I get is that Silicone breast forms give the most realistic coverage for best feel and look of cleavage. I have £5 (USA $8.35) chicken fillets, small sized cleavage, but to go for medium or higher, I'd have to spend the equivalent of a pair of high heeled shoes or boots. I had thought at one point of going for a Foam pair, but after reading you've found them uncomfortable, I think I'll abandon Foam types.

When I have more money, I could invest on one or more pairs of the expensive silicone forms, but for now, I could still get quite good coverage from a well padded Bra. I'll ask a local stockist for the most padded bras they have and buy one of those. Even if I don't have a traffic stopping appearance, having something reasonably dramatic would still fit in well with Halloween. Just being dramatic to any degree would go down well with the other attendants.

From personal experiences, I feel more comfortable buying female/TG products from alternative shops, as the shopkeepers and customers don't think anything of you buying 'different' products. There's a local shop that sells bras, basques, corsets, PVC including mini skirts, fishnets, suspenders, high heeled shoes and boots, and so much more.

I won't rule out Invisi Bras. It's just I've not very far with the hook type breast forms. It might be as they're ultra cheap, so the hook isn't very strong. Anything affordable that gives a very, or at least reasonably dramatic appearance will fit in perfectly for Halloween, and you and the others have come up with some very good suggestions. As I'm higher than extra large, at the moment, my choices of what I can fit into are limited, but I'm sorting out last minute thoughts and long to be dressed at Halloween!

Altough I've not owned other silicone forms to compare, I can recommend those made by Trukare (http://www.truekare.com/index.htm). I recently got a paire of their asymmetric forms for about US$60 and they are wonderful. They seem best with a bra, although the built-in adhesive works pretty well. There's a little more info about them in another thread.

BTW, they do ship to the UK

I didn't see it mentioned in any of the other replies, but one can find forms on ebay for a good price.

Check sizing charts well

Post by KimberlyS »

Yes there are many breast forms out on eBay. Many of the the auction titles are deceiving by how they state the sizes. They are stating the cup size for a much smaller band size than most of us CDers are. Read the sizing charts well including the measurements and weight. Ask the seller questions if something is unclear. A good seller will want to make sure you get what you want and are happy and not just make a sale. There is also a difference between a young perky breast shape (VS bras) and a full figured breast shape (LB bras). And lastly there is a big difference in quality of different forms as well as different options.

I have gotten several pair of breast forms off of eBay and been happy with what I have gotten. But I also did a lot of comparison and looking.

Here's an idea I just tried and it worked really well. I stuck a Nu Bra onto a pair of silicone enhancers. They adhered to the silicone better than they stick to skin: shoved the whole thing into a C cup bra and they fit perfect and feel great!

Creating the breast

Post by Renee »

I have gone around with this toying with different things and have found it near impossible to have both a nice size ( . Y . ) as well as great cleavage.
If you force, tape or glue the skin and underlying adipose tissue over into a nice cleavage it makes it harder to go up in cup size or outward.
Having going through every corner of my brain trying to figure the cheapest way to make a set of false boobs, including all types of silicone, caulk, the rice bags, seed bags, etc.. Then making forms to mold the sizes, letting caulk and silicone dry, (by the way it takes forever if you try to mold your own and they are hard and do not feel real at all).
In the end you will have spent more money in time, cash, and aggravation. Best bet save bite the bullet and buy a quality round or oval attachable form that is made for just this reason.
As for the best results for size and cleavage ( . Y . ) attach the form off to the sides just a bit with medical grade adhesive and draw those puppies inward with a snug fitting front clasp bra.
