Have been trying on girdles but have roll down. Any suggestions as to size and what to do. Have been using obg with stockings and that's been great, but would like to wear pg.

I think you need the high waisted variety of open bottom girdle (obg) or panty girdle (pg). I find that the higher waist prevents roll down.

I love them too,and prefer the long leg which feels great over panty hose. The long line with boning(stays) works great. Needless to say they don't roll but are a hassel when using a restroom.

Or a full body briefer.

Paula, I started to wear my mom's girdle when I was 1-13 I wanted to know what it felt like and whenI did try them on, wow I could not stop wearing her gridles when she was out of the house and I had to try on bras and pantyhose and the well everything else she had. I just recently had the very strong desire to cross dress again. I since have hit a major speed bump so I am going slow right now. I use to love the old fashion girdles the way they fit and well I need to find one like my mom had to have that sensation again.

The high waist girdles stay and and roll less in general. You may need to go up or down a size. I would say it would be worth it for you to try on some in a store. Also most of my girdles are boned which keeps them from rolling down.

I really prefer a high-waisted zipper open bottom girdle. My favorite was a Rago that came from Sally Anne's in Chicago, but alas the zipper broke and I have been unable to replace it. I recently tried on a high-waisted zipper pg at Lady Grace and was very disappointed to find that it pretty much felt like a pair of bike shorts with a zipper. Guess I've got to have that firm control.

Spanx Hi-Rise Body Smoother

This one is good, but read about it on www.prettypear.com

But I agree, go with the High Waist ones. If you can go into the store and try it on that would help also.

Last item I got was a pair of Control Panties

Nice for some shaping, but they do roll a little. Having High Top stops this.

I purchased a Rago 679 long leg panty girdle with a slit in the crotch opening with garters for stockings and it a bit on the high waisted side and it's really been very good. I wear all the time and it's not rolling down
