Hello everyone. I’m really excited for next year because it would be the most special day of my life. I will be married soon to my long time boyfriend and I feel very happy and nervous at the same time. I am now looking for the design of my robe de mariée (wedding dress) and I already found some but it’s quite expensive. Do you think I should do some preis test (price test) before buying?

Catherina -

I'm a bit confused . . . are you a GG (genetic girl) or a CD? I've read your post in New Members, but that was just a basic post.

If you're a GG, then I'll need to amend your user name with either the GG or SO tag.

If you're a CD who is going to be marrying next year, and you will be wearing a wedding dress . . . how awesome! =D>

Definitely do a price comparison, buy what you can afford but don't sacrifice beauty and quality for price.

And depending on where you live, some really nice wedding dresses can be found in charity shops (thrift shops such as goodwill).

I'm not sure if they have similar shops in the Philippines.

congrats on getting married. I'm not Cding for my wedding obviously when it happens but I won't be wearing a dress either. Compromise something my partner will like but that doesn't make me feel too girly and hate myself on a day that should be fun.

I was thinking gothic corset and top hat and goth trousers &boots. and buy a sexy nightdress for my partner when we are alone and no one can see it and percieve me as too girly for my brain to cope with.
