I'm asking this question for my husband. He would like to go somewhere where they can help him make over his look so that he feels better about himself when he dresses. Does anyone know of any places that offer a service like this?

A few cosmetic sales locals do makeup instruction for CDs, such as MAC and Merle Norman.

There is a makeover service for CDs in Chicago, I think it is Rory's. If you enter that info in a search engine it should lead you to her address. If you decide to go the BE-ALL in Chicago (see Events section), she will be there to do makeovers. Jamie Austin is usually there too, but he is pretty expensive. The thing about the counter makeovers is that they are in the open rather than private or at an event where most everyone is cd or TG or TS. I don't know how far you are from Chicago, but I did meet others from Indiana there last year. You could stay somewhere other than the DoubleTree event hotel and just come in for a day or so. Friday or Saturday would be best, I think.

Renee I know of about 5 near here but alas 2900 miles of ocean separate us. I hope the local girls to you can help you.
Best wishes

At the Mac counters here in major stores, if you buy $50 of product they will doll you up. Seems reasonable to me. The only downside is you are out in the open (for those worried about being 'caught'). At their stand alone shop, they have private areas, but you pay $50 for the service alone, not as good a deal.
